Well...not YET! But it's not fair to compare it to consoles that have had a full life of exclusives. It'll be tough to match PS2 with all of its 3rd party exclusives though.

definitely the best family bundle between MS and Sony this holiday (Nintendo is great as well but many are choosing between those 2 for their family)
and people thought it couldn't reach 15m in 2014 tisk tisk. Now let's see if it can reach the big 2-0 before January 1. That would be amazing but considering it sold close to 3/4 of a million last week it could be close. BF week will add another million plus and then as we get close to Christmas it will once again top off. PS3 reached just around 8m in the same time frame lol
and EVERY country where they're both available PS4 has sold more even once X1 reached price parity.
PS3 kept it till this year. Xbox lost it in 2011 or so if a man is being generous. Most of its exclusives were moved to the One of course which kinda worked for a little while but unfortunately they just don't have the studios or the interest in new IP to keep their consoles alive for as long.
@KiwiViper85 obviously perception is not that. Xbots continue to push it as if it will somehow override the FACT that twice as many people have chosen PS4. A few of them probably did it for other reasons but the overriding driver behind evenly priced console sales is exclusive games. A man is "hiding" behind the fact that there are more and better exclusives already out and coming out for PS4.

Won the battle but sacrificed a lot of profits giving away so many games and the console for under retail. They've cut price inside the first year (multiple times in the UK) and that's never a good sign.
