The pattern will stay. Last gen it happened worldwide now it will happen in the US only. Before the PS3 would outsell 360 the whole year before making up some ground in November and sometimes December. Now the PS4 will always outsell Xbox One the whole year (as we've seen). In the US the pattern of Xbox winning the last 2 months will stay as long as MS keeps losing heaps of money in those months.

eh. So the PS4 lead is down to 600k or so. Do people really believe Sony leading by 1/2m is bad for them? A man seems to remember 360 nearly doubling PS3's sales last gen in that region. PS4 is on pace to sell much better than the 83 million and counting PS3. That means close to 100m at least. That market isn't going to disappear in one gen. Sony will at least wait until the console market shrinks for them to 40m or so to pull the plug and as long as PC tech keeps moving ahead then there will always be a need for at least one console especially with the stable of exclusives that is the primary reason for most to buy Playstation.
If that's their strategy then why have they announced 2016 games already? If they had stuff coming they would have announced it at E3. Instead they announced stuff far off just to say they had X number of games at their conference. It's an illusion as listwar.com shows.
They have nothing left. They already revealed things farther away than is tradition at E3 just to support the incorrect notion that it has a better lineup. Now they without a whole lot to show unless they show concept art or something for their 2017 games. They already have cut price $150 in a year and completely took the black out of black Friday. you get more out of the system if it's exclusive or console exclusive since PC obviously isn't holding it back. SF4 and 5 will run better and look better than if they were multiplat since they're only PS4 on console.
Don't make them play too much. Some of those NES games haven't aged well. Also no save points suck just get the WiiU Virtual Console version so you can save at any point. Don't put your kids through Super Ghosts and Goblins for love of god!
A man enjoys his retro but many are not nearly as great as they were at release unless you have nostalgia goggles on.
For instance a man loves OoT, Crash 3, Spyro 1 and 2, ALttP, Goldeneye, and Smash yet a lot of the other ones in those same franchises that he DIDN'T play back when they released (Majora's, Spyro 3, Crash 1 and 2, Zelda original, etc.) that are considered classics are not very much fun to go back to. Too much micromanagement of mother base will make this game a slog of menus and strategy like. A man doesn't want an AC Revelations scenario where you have to constantly go to your holdings and make sure they're safe and be constantly worrying about mother base being attacked and gaining supplies for it. MGS3 was great because this stuff was limited (a man's favorite). Keep it on that level and you've got a masterpiece. Also get that shrap...
