Sadly, it probably won't be spent on making new IPs that don't revolve around FPS/TPS. Who knows though..........
I still find it disturbing and confusing how MAG didn't make the list of best shooters in 2010. I personally find it to be a more addictive game then Black Ops, Halo Reach, etc... Just because a game sells a lot doesn't make it the best thing ever made. Not to mention the lack of JRPGs, MMOs, PC games, etc... is just an embarrassment. Sad thing is that the majority of people only watched the VGAs to see the reveals.
The crazy thing about this is that there are some games missing from that list that just haven't been 100% confirmed about their release date like:
Final Fantasy XIV (PS3 version)
inFAMOUS 2
Whight Knight Chronicles 2 (US/NA release)
Final Fantasy XIII Versus
etc.....

This game has just killed every game in 2011.
I agree but some games should have a coop element in them. It's what makes games more fun to play. I think if possible, the entire campaign should be coop compatible.

I agree. As a FFXI 3-4 year player, I want to start playing FFXIV now, but I don't want to have to deal with issues the game has now. Not to mention, there is a fucking straight killer list of games in 2011. I'll be PLENTY busy until FFXIV comes. When it comes to MMOs/Online RPGs though, I think White Knight Chronicles 2 with do just fine for now, (if it ever gets a US/EU release).

Looking very nice. The only thing I really hope they put in UC3, along with other games like Killzone 3, Resistance 3, SOCOM 4, etc... is co-op through out the entire campaign. I strongly support that games need more co-op in them.

If anything I just hope Sony spreads their 2011 games out more and not just cram them all in Q1. There is already enough to play with just LBP 2, inFAMOUS 2 and Killzone 3 in Q1.
On Topic though: That list on that site does...
I just hope SOCOM IV isn't being marketed as "that move game" and people think it's a game made for the casual when in reality it's not.

I think what people are trying to get at is from a "hardcore" gamer perspective who doesn't have a PS3 nor 360. Seeing to how the majority, if not all, of those games that you listed are multiplat and Sony has 3-5+ exclusive in Q1, (which is stupid if you ask me, they need to spread them out more), and Microsoft doesn't have anything exclusive, other than those multiplat games coming in Q1, (iirc), your at a stand point to decide whether to get a 360 ...

I really find it funny how everyone is always first to say Killzone 2 when it comes to FPSs on the PS3. I'm in no way saying Killzone 2 was bad or anything, I loved it. But I feel MAG is a better game, as well as a game that deserves more attention then what it's getting and that can be said about ANY of Zipper's games.
