I played god of war 1 recently, Imagine the meltdown where the narrator says "he" when referring to Kratos
In my experience seeing people react to the trailer, nobody was excited, long before pronounce were shown

i was cautiously optimistic at first
then I saw gameplay and it being a hero shooter and instantly lost all interest
clearly not alone
because when shitty games fail it discourages other companies from copying their tactics
