I think the problem with this article, and the word overrated in general can be summed up in the first 10 words

Yeah, i don't really mind, but unless it's been confirmed i think it's a bit silly to assume the 4/5 characters we've seen will be the only characters, i mean, how many final fantasy's do you know that you start off with all playable characters in your party?

I'm hoping for more clarity on two things at the moment
1, is rolling, in the e3 trailer noctis rolled a few times, similar to crisis core, but i didn't see it in the tgs one.
2 is guns, like the trailer where prompto shot down a flying enemy, hope that's still possible.

even if you do think it's "god awful" i still don't see how it's an unfortunate remake? which i should point out, it isn't a remake, it's a remaster.
if you don't like it, don't play it, no problem, but the people who do like it get to play it again, so those who dislike it are unaffected, while those who do are happy.
so i don't see how the remaster is unforunate.
