There's sites dedicated to trophy guides and trophies in general
it's not dying at all, if it was i doubt Sony/Microsoft would have bothered to bring them over, or at least every single game wouldn't have them.

I like the way trophies/achievements are, some easy, some hard, some in the middle, and a few for doing random little things.

Can't you turn off notifications? i'm pretty sure you can, at least for trophies anyway.
I liked Jak 2, it will always have a special place for me since it was my first ps2 game i owned, but i really despised the driving in it, f you were in the air you'd hit a vehicle or the walls, on the ground you're likely to run into a soldier in 5 seconds.
I think it depends if you play single player or multiplayer
Wipeout, Sonic unleashed and Brink were probbaly my hardest ones

I really don't understand how getting the size of the map could possibly take anything away from the game, really if knowing the size somehow makes the game less enjoyable for you then that can only be considered a you problem
I find it weird that he wrote this and another list abut 10 reasons he hates rpgs yet some of the points are the same, something he praises in this are things he complains critisises in the other one
so because you can show games that were rated badly
