The fact that you had an unproven new IP pre-ordered in the first place wasn't very intelligent of you... especially since the warning signs have been there and widely covered for months, if the gaming industry is going to get better, the gamers have to stop supporting these bullsh*t business practices like pre-ordering (never a good idea), early access, trinket DLC and free-to-play games, if we ignore them they will go away, just look at what happened to online passes.
I...
I wonder if he will learn his lesson from last time (Twisted Metal) and not release the game with a completely broken and unresponsive multiplayer, especially since that's all this game has, not that I care anyway, my interest was killed as soon this was announced as a free-to-play game.
Should've said blackwater.
What kind of stuff goes on at GDC? Do high profile games usually get announced at it?

LMAO at your comment history, I haven't cringed so hard in a long time...
Nah this trailer is very much new, it just re-uses a lot of older clips, which isn't a bad thing at all, the less they show the better.
Fine don't trust them, go and buy the game, the reviews are only warning you not ordering you, it's your $60.
Hilarious.
The difference being Resident Evil 2 was only short after you first beat it and figure out all the puzzles and where everything is, which takes ages the first time around, and it also has a sh*t ton of replay value, it has 2 campaigns which both have an A and B scenario, so right off the bat you have 4 playthroughs before you even bother trying to unlock all the secret weapons, costumes and characters, absolutely awful comparison...
What did you not agree with?
Or it's just gotta be an exclusive.
All I can say is Ready at Dawn are lucky they didn't go multiplatform with this one otherwise nobody would be supporting it.
If a game is short, it's gotta have replayability, if a game is cinematic, it's gotta have choices, this game is both and has neither.

Shouldn't you be playing Disney games or something?
Nooooooooooooooooo, it's satire :(
The cutscenes in that game total to just over 8 hours which is definitely the equivalent of 3 movies, as for the gameplay, you'd get one really short game out of it as the average person reports to take around 4-5 hours to beat it whilst skipping cutscenes and taking their time.
Unfair comparison, all those awards were for storytelling not gameplay, when Naughty Dog makes an open world game as good as they do linear games then I will take note.
I kinda felt bad watching that, they really put a lot of effort into this game and a lot of people (myself included) have just been ripping into it because of its length and QTE's...
I'm just gonna steer clear of The Order articles until the reviews are out, while I can't see myself buying it for full price I might do so when it gets a price drop, I won't rent it or buy it pre-owned however because I still want to support the developers.
The problem with Driveclub was that it was released unfinished, the multiplayer and challenges were completely broken, weather physics and a replay option among various other features that should've been in the game from the start were later patched in and passed off as developer support, hell the game has only been out 4 months and it has already had 11 patches... the game was reviewed in accordance to the state in which it was released, and rightly so.
