Oh yeah the vita, I genuinely forgot that existed lol
This was covered in this article, http://n4g.com/news/1675957...
That girl needs to relax, she seems so uncomfortable lol
Ubisoft are the definition of trial and error, even in Far Cry's case, Crytek developed the first game and then helped Ubisoft with the second, then Ubisoft made 2 rubbish Far Cry games before they finally got the formula right with Far Cry 3, although when Ubisoft get it right, they get it very right.
Hopefully this game doesn't suffer from Ubisoft's first attempt syndrome.
Saw the title and instantly knew it was a Dualshockers article submitted by Abriael.
Even better than Uncharted 4?
The game wasn't even being speedrun, it really is 5-6 hours long, the additional length only comes into play if you thoroughly scan every single environment trying to find all the collectibles, but the vast majority of gamers aren't completionists and don't really care about that sort of thing, they just move from one area to the next.
I've read this in so many different reviews now and I've even watched a chunk of the leaked gameplay before the embargo wa...
"the levels could be so open and big that they would be basically tranform Crash into a huge 3D platformer game. "
They're already making that game with Uncharted 4, the only difference would be replacing Drake with Crash and making the environments all cartoonish and retro looking, they've proven that they have the potential for so much more... but suit yourself, I would just rather see them moving forward instead of backward.
Don't bother, Naughty Dog are capable of so much more than reviving some E-rated platformer franchise from 15 years ago for nostalgic people, focus on new IP's and The Last of Us 2, some things are just better left in the past...
Enough with the concept art already, show some screenshots, really curious to see how different the other characters will look!
I wonder if it will get swatted.
Okay, storytelling IS important in games... I just meant developers should never compromise gameplay in order to tell a story, otherwise it risks becoming a movie game, and they're never good in my opinion.
Yes, they will, isn't that right Todd?
"...YES, YES WE WILL, I PROMISE, I PROMISE!!!".
Yes it did win and it was a joke, this isn't a storytelling industry, that's for movies and books, although it's a bonus if a game has a good story, but gameplay should ALWAYS come first, and The Walking Dead had no gameplay mechanics other walking, pointing and clicking... another really stupid thing about that VGA's was that games released in December weren't included, so Far Cry 3 was ruled out, the game that most likely would've won GOTY... absolute joke.
I don't see this game meeting the same fate as The Order: 1886, firstly the developers have said it will take 9 hours to beat, which usually means you can shave off an hour or 2 from that, but... it will also have hundreds of endings thanks to an in-game system called the butterfly effect, so the player is still very much in control of the game and has lots of choices to make, and as far as replay value goes, ho lee fuk...
If a game is short, it's gotta have replay va...
I know.
2015 is off to a great start I see, just prolonging the awesomeness that was 2014!
No but really, up and coming in March and Q2 we have Battlefield Hardline, Resident Evil: Revelations 2, Bloodborne, Mortal Kombat X, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Batman: Arkham Knight... ratings wise, I can only see maybe two of those games bombing, but sales wise, they're all guaranteed success.
Summer release? Yeah... I can almost guarantee you it will be delayed into October.
Of course they don't, just look at Call of Duty.
