I stopped playing after 3, didn't like the ship battles in 3 but still pushed my way through them, I guess I'm just not on the same boat as most people (pun not intended), no way was I gonna play an entire game based on them regardless if they were improved or not, that's not what I played this series for, I was gonna jump back on board (pun not intended) for Unity but... yeah.

Far Cry 2, weapons jamming midway through shootouts, vehicles breaking down during chase sections, buddies burning to death in wildfires, mission givers not spawning, being run over by jeeps you never saw coming, terrible save system, digging bullets out of your body and breaking your bones to regain health in the middle of a shootout, malaria attacks, enemy checkpoints resetting after you turn around, being chased every 2 minutes by an enemy convoy, you name it, Far Cry 2 does it.

Being that Sony is a Japanese company and Microsoft is an American one it's hardly a surprise that the PS4 is slaughtering the non-existent competition in the JRPG department, Xbox One is more focused on what the mainstream American audiences are more interested in.
No it will not, it will no doubt still be cross-gen too but Activision will still end up finding something revolutionary to say about it like they do with every CoD, something like, 'The next generation of Black Ops has arrived!'.
To me a game is only truly next-gen if last-gen can't run it.

You could easily finish this game in one evening after you get home from work, and that includes making dinner, taking a piss or two and being in bed before 12, and if you're not a fan of lengthy cinematics then even more time to take care of a few chores here and there, beats listening to a group of old Englishmen sitting around a table discussing politics, just make sure to return to the game ever couple of minutes to hit triangle.
