Every time a new Assassin's Creed game is revealed it is greeted with hate and cynicism, as the months go by Ubisoft gets people gradually interested with some new bullshots and heavily scripted, polished up gameplay footage, then usually within a month from release Ubisoft release the story trailer and make it as epic as possible and everyone pre-orders it.

It makes no sense to make this a standalone game as it should not be experienced without having played the main game first, hell it's included along with TLoU Remastered and that game even advises you not to play Left Behind until you complete the main game first to avoid spoilers.
I know N4G's not gonna like me saying this but this is nothing more than milking success no matter what way you try to spin it.
Everyone said the same when Bloodborne's reviews released, they will say the same once again when MGSV's reviews release, in truth the GOTY for 2015 will be highly subjective as the quality is just too high for everyone to settle on one game, Dragon Age: Inquisition won last year but I doubt it would even get nominated this year.

Real life is too open world, the story is incredibly dragged out, the gameplay is tedious and repetitive and there's no tutorial to tell you what to do and where to go, the alcohol is nice but it causes too many frame drops, the drugs are good but 15fps makes me feel like I'm going to have a seizure, the matchmaking is incredibly unbalanced and the A.I. is retarded.
