My first time playing, I played a little bit today for an hour or so. As a father, the first ten minutes was like being stabbed in the chest. Good luck to you gamer dads.
I have a feeling this will be like Ghosts: Great story, terrible multiplayer, and in a game where it's safe to say that over 2/3 of your install base buy the game for the multiplayer that is unacceptable.
The Limited Edition does have the Expansion pass. Where have you seen otherwise?
I've tried all 3 in the alpha and the beta but I always end up back at the Warlock.
I think everyone knows that consoles don't begin to get amazing games until 9-18 months after launch.
I don't know how you can expect a huge difference between consoles of the same generation. Now, I played on my Ps4 and my 360 and that was a humongous difference, but that's to be expected.
Shotty is so useful. Let people come to you, build up your super, and when two or more enemies bombard you at your base, let loose.
I really like this combination of TDM and Domination. Getting a bunch of kills won't do much for you if you don't help your team capture.
I have a PS4 and I like the layout of the controller but the material is definitely cheap. I've had two controllers where the R2 has broken and the battery life is short. I wouldn't mind putting batteries in the X1 controller. It's a little bulky but it's pretty sturdy and I like the springs under the triggers. I find it more comfortable than the Dualshock 4. If I could only find a way to use the X1 controller on PS4..
In all honesty dude I found it all depends on what weapons you have. I played as a Warlock in the Alpha and had a scout rifle and shotgun that both did over 100 damage. I was kicking ass.
I've tried them all but I like the Warlock for his badass Jedi robes and his super is easier to use for me.
In the alpha you played on Earth. I'm pretty sure there are 2 or 3 locations in the beta, so it makes sense.
I don't believe you understand what's happening here. Playstation is getting some bonus content regardless of the version you get. The timed exclusive content has nothing to do with the special editions. You're literally whining about some armor, weapons and missions. I'm sorry that Sony has a more appealing platform this time around and Microsoft did nothing but gimp Bungie last generation.
I may have to get a Vita just for the intense Destiny raids where I have to take a bathroom break during a tension point.
Out of all of the different consoles I've owned, for how powerful the PS4 is its design is extremely efficient. Some of the best engineering choices. Now if only they'd make the Dualshock 4 a little more durable.
The service being down here and there is a big improvement over a few years ago when I tried to switch over to playstation. It was terrible until about 2009. I do see quite a difference.
Titanfall was quite a bit of fun. It just didn't have enough content.
I was more disappointed by Ghosts than by Black Ops 2. This may be the first Cod game I haven't bought since 2007.
I have actually tried that too. I even deleted the app and re-downloaded. Oh well. I'll probably just wait for the public beta.
I think ND did an amazing job. I didn't feel any of the violence to be pure shock value, it was always pertinent to the story.
