This is what the industry needs: more sleeper hits. I heard almost nothing about this game before buying, saw a review and some gameplay a couple of weeks ago, bought it last week and I've been having a blast. This and The Evil Within will keep me busy, along with all of the games dropping next month.
So far this gen there aren't many reasons to get either console besides raw power. Neither of them have really solid exclusives out right now. Playstation has more that I'm interested in down the line and that's why I chose them this gen. Quantum Break looks awesome though.
I feel like these Souls games are so amazing simply because they are very much classic games, in the layout and the level of challenge. Not only are they fun to play, but you actually feel accomplished when you clear an area you've been stuck on for 2 and a half hours.

This game looks like one not to miss but I was never able to play the others. Is there any way someone can link a story summary for this noob? I realize it's a huge story, I'd just really like to become acquainted with it before I even try to play Ground Zeros or Phantom Pain.
I think The Division and Quantum Break look great. I'm a little worried about The Order, but I'll probably pick it up just as a showcase of the console's power like Ryse did for the Xbox One.
I noticed this. I played it quite a bit and I think it deserves an 8. Nothing more, not much less. 6 is nuts.
If that's the case then The Last of Us is an Uncharted wannabe.
I can't wait for Bloodborne, The Division, The Witcher, Uncharted 4 and MGS5. I'm hoping I'm wrong, but it sounds like The Order is going to be like Playstation's "Ryse". A game with gorgeous graphics but lacking gameplay. I really hope I'm wrong.
While it doesn't look like it shocks and awes in the graphics department, it looks like a pretty brutal game. It may be a day 1 buy for me.
I'm not worried. I put an insane amount of time into the Alpha and Beta. I could see myself blowing through the story but spending more time exploring with friends and playing crucible.
I'm pretty sure it's scarier with the brightness turned up haha. Seriously though I haven't been this jumpy at a game in years. This is going to be fantastic.
Infamous was a good game but it was so damn short compared to the first and second games. I didn't expect to get so bored so fast with that or Watch Dogs.
I thought Survivor was hard enough. I'm enjoying the campaign so much I'm going through on the easiest difficulty to pick up everything, then I think I'll play on Grounded and Grounded Plus.
I don't feel like Titanfall had enough content to be considered as a full game. I played the beta and really liked it, but I was disappointed by how few options there were in the full game.
I'm afraid of wasting my money again. Unless you're willing to fork out for the season pass the game only really lasts a few months. This will be the first CoD I haven't bought since 2005.
I didn't have any problems when I had an Xbox One. The only problem I even have with the PS4 UI is that they don't have your content separated into folders yet. All your stuff is kind of jumbled together. They both work quickly for me.
Do you really expect a company that makes money on game and peripheral sales is going to give away games that make them money?
I'm glad it does exist. I haven't had a Playstation 3 until 2010 and I would have missed out on this gem. This is my first time playing, I'm about 6 hours in, and I'm comparing it to Resident Evil 4 and Bioshock (2 of my favorite games of all time."
I know I'm going to get disliked like hell, but this is a feature Microsoft tried to implement at launch but people flipped out. You don't own the content on your discs anyway.
