I also have the 360 and PS3 and have read the posts. I tried so hard to stay an xbox fan as I loved the first xbox and think it was way better than PS2 but I cant bring myself to say this now.
The PS3 is in all aspects a better system this generation. I have played the best games both systems have offered and I can say that the PS3's exlusives are TRUE next gen and offer an experience that the 360 hasnt thus far.

As an owner of all 3 next gen systems I can honestly say without any fanboyism that the PS3 is the best system this generation.
I have played the best games each system has to offer and the only system that I buy games for now is the PS3. The exclusives are amazing. The only 360 game that even comes close to the PS3 exclusives is GOW.

I was amazed at the difference all around (AI, Graphics, Speed, Amount of detail, overal size of game, sound, etc) of RFOM.

Games like warhawk, drakes, heavenly, resistance, ratch/clank, etc have blown me away. I am now playing Drakes through yet again, to get the trophies and I still pan the camera around in some areas in amazement of the detail in this game. Truly amazing.

The PS3 is all that I need. The exclusives are amazing and the 3rd party devs are learning the hardware.
I cant play the 360 anymore after playing games like Warhawk, MGS4, Ratchet, RFOM, Heavenly, etc.
There just isnt enough space on a DVD to even come close to the depth of MGS4.
I was actually thinking of keeping the 360 for GOW2 and Fable but they will be short. Also, I am in no way getting up and swapping DVDs this generation to play larger...
I have both systems. I have played both games to the extent of knowing and finding almost every hidden item in the games. Therefore I KNOW both games.
Graphics:
GOW had nicer textures, colors.
RFOM had much more detailed environments.(to the extent that some detail could only be seen if you were searching everything.)
Sound:
GOW sound was good but the music was way too compressed.
RFOM sound was excellent and the music...
I enjoyed GOW1 and RFOM1 to the max. But after playing GOW a few times over I realized that the game was truncated huge due to disk space.

- RFOM much better: Cities were detailed and buildings were 3D. I even noticed bricks and detail inside some buildings that you couldnt get into the window of. This is amazing.
- GOW textures were nicer but thats all. The buildings were usually big square blocks. Windows in RFOM could be shot and you could see the detail inside.

My honest opinion (No fanboyage) is that MGSIV is superior in all aspects regardless of cinema length etc.
