Yeah, but it took more than 1 friggen quarter to go down 8 billion. It has taken Sony 1 to lose 3.5 billion. That is insane. M$ made 4 billion in profit previous quarter on revenue of 16.2 billion.

XNA is very helpful in taking care of content loading(textures, sound, shaders, etc). The Live APIs are very nice as well, as they handle a lot of the low level networking for multiplayer games. Sure Managed DirectX is slightly slower than un-managed DirectX but a one to two man team would be hard pressed to need more power out of the 360. There are differences between the compiler on the 360 and the compilers on the pc so you have to be careful.
Nope, 700,000 people playing online Halo 3 daily will get it day one. At least that amount. Probably a lot more.

You could say that people that activated the Netflix streaming stopped using it after a month. Or you could have read the fact that there has been 25,000,000 hours of content streamed to 360s from Netflix. It was a great success. Get over it. Oh, and I have a Blu Ray player, so I am getting 2 blu rays at a time from Netflix, and get to stream all the content I want. Just got through watching 2 seasons of 30 Rock in HD. And the HD looks just as good as broadcast HD.
