MGS4 is not a ps3 selling game, MGS4 was made for the hardcore fans of MGS, it won't sell alot of ps3s, but it will help the sales towards it just like any other game. if EA slaps the logo on GTA its ruined... thou i can't imagine them taking T2 after the mediocre release of GTA4, I am referring to gameplay wise, not sales, i know the sales were though the roof, but the game it self was repetitive and boring.
Namco gave Sony fans/users the big f*ck you by literally putting everything exclusively or timed on the 360, well, my Namco games Ace Combat 4, 5, and Zero will be traded for this game Hawx...whcih looks awsome, its great that its multi-platform and will be the new flight sim for us ps3 users... If Namco was smart, they would release Ace Combat 6 to the ps3 before this comes out cause if they don't well, there is no point after this release... I for one bought Ace Combat on day one, guess not...

but the rrod problem still exists, newer machines are still breaking, i believes its down from the 33% to like 10-15%, which is still a high number considering that Wii and Ps3 have less than 1%

eventually we'll finish MGS and move on, but the 360 has its way of ruining many jrpgs by putting them exclusive to the 360 or at least timed...if their timed, well coming out 1 year later on the ps3 is pointless, not many people buy it cause the graphics are 1 year old and there are better games to play which look better graphically..Take Bioshock coming to ps3, its not gonna sell good cause the graphics are 1 year old, the games is more than a year old itself, no one cares.....What I can't ...
if you want to ruin a great JRPG, put it on the 360, no jrpg released has sold well on the 360, so why would you want to, want to know where your fans are, on the ps3, cause we bought it for a reason, if anything please multi-platform games

its happened to me, i had daemon running an image of diablo 2 and starcraft, i made an image cause i want to be able to play in an instant... i was dumb enough to buy a pc tower with a face plate, cause it looked kewl, well ya looks great, but when u replace a disc is just another damn chore to do, anyways fear did that to me too, the orginal detected daemon, so i had to crack fear, speaking of which i just noticed is not on my desktop and cannot find it..... i hope he don't buy mass effect.....
when they release a game that originally got its name on the ps1/ps2, the sales figures for the 360 are low compared to the previous game on the ps1/ps2... Look at ace combat 6, it did horrible on the 360, cause it had no fan base unless they went and got a 360, chances are they didn't, unfortunately star ocean is another and will prob get mediocre sales compared to be releasing on the ps3, BTW, star ocean is like FF in Japan, so i highly doubt they will ignore them, i don;t mind multi-platfo...
