You people are gonna tell me that the PS2 didn't own the 3rd party market? The console had the top system selling 3rd party titles on lock, and publishers seemed to have favored Sony at the time.
The word ''monopoly'' might of been a little of a stretch, but Sony did lavishly well their PS1/2 consoles with an overwhelming amount of 3rd party supported titles.
Once EA's exclusive deal with the NFL expires, 2K will definitely fill my need to play NFL titles on the Wii U.
Those days are over with (unless you factor in handhelds). There will be a few 3rd party exclusives, but development cost has increase a lot more since that era.
I have no clue what I just read (satire clearly, but I didn't find it funny).
Is the PS3 even that cheap (which doesn't matter because that console is 6-7 years old)?
People underplay the Wii U way too often. I mean, be reasonable and expect a realistic pricing ($250 basic, $300 deluxe).
The Wii U isn't for yourself.
I never mention multiplatform titles (though you do make a valid point), and Nintendo's online service is a lot better than the Wii was. They're still in the ''updating'' phase, so you shouldn't claim; ''what you see is what you get!''
Locking ID's to consoles is pretty basic of them, and I hope they rectify this issue.
You're issues with the Wii U are valid, but what about the systems positives? When it concerns ...
I'm be patiently waiting for the PS4 and 720 to launch, to see the full list of features they offer.
With all those hardware specs; the used game market would be terrible for business, so I wanna know how they'll both (Microsoft and Sony) counteract that threat. Guaranteed that both their consoles will be sold at a loss (subsidization might be an option), so there might be some form ''safety'' in play.
Nintendo math is a ''-'' for some, while Sony's math is a huge ''+'' xD (you totally called that person out, unless they got their Vita used).
eshop on the Wii U. Scared the game won't sell at retail? Bring it on down to the eshop xD.
Competition this time, though. I'm definitely getting the Steam Box, because the Left4Dead, Portal, Half Life, and Team Fortress series. There's Ouya, Gamestick, etc..
People just shoulding assuming that traditional consoles will control the gaming market, when publishers have a lot more options where to place their titles land.
Not trying to create drama, but by your definition; the Vita should be outselling the 3DS because of the merit of its ''tech'' alone. Like always - games sell hardware, so you shouldn't proclaim the Wii U dead ''just cause.''
There's; Nintendo TVii
Miiverse
BC with Wii games and accessories
A ''TV'' button that functions as a universal remote
Near Field Communication technology
Off-TV play
And... Nintendo exclusives
I didn't expect people who've always hated the words ''Nintendo,'' to all of a sudden appreciate the company after the Wii U had launched.
I'm not surprised by the amount of peopl...
Pachter's predictions are as sporadic as the Harlem shake.
Though it isn't targeted at ''your demographic.''
They should be asking ''women'' about this topic in general.
You can only imagine all the, ''spanked by meat'' references.
It isn't needed, but it's a welcomed feature that might persuade consumer interest for that said product (at times).
''Bye bye KFC''
Dang.
Nintendo stated that it wasn't a remastered title, but a remade one? They'll be new elements to the game, and the co-op aspect will be a lot more impactful (here's hoping! xD).
I'll pay that price if content is added, or future patches to prolong the title, exist down the road.
A lot of people are interested in the PS4, though it's mostly the core crowd. The mainstream audience (casuals) will determine the victor of next-gen.
