I'm not going to let MS destroy one of my favorite hobbies.
I could care less what games MS announces I'm not even considering Xbox One with all it's milkage and fees.

I can already hear it, if you can't afford $xx per month than you shouldn't watch the cable you already paid for.

MS has either closed or sold off almost all their first party studios which is why exclusives have been lacking on 360 for the last 3 years.

They aren't the cheapest, Sony gives you good value for the money and good quality. On most items I'd rather pay a little more for good quality and that's where Sony is at.

I think it's pretty incredible because Hirai has turned Sony around. He actually deserves the bonus.

That's smart.

I have a lot of friends that have bought a PS3 then cancelled their Live subscription.

If you have PS Plus it downloads all the patches and updates on it's own. :)

Ratchet and Clank has always had great humor! Movie sounds great to me

Because one region doesn't make a system. And not everyone wants to play Halo or COD over and over and over

Here's another reason:
Sony isn't done with PS3 yet. MS has been done with 360 for the last 2 years

@SITH
With PS+ it keeps your system and games up to date automatically. No waiting... And usually it's less than 5 minutes

What has MS done in the last couple years for games? 360 owners have literally been left hanging. Sony is the only company supporting hobby gamers and N4G is a website for gamers.

What about when you want to take your Xbox outside of the house? For example we have screens in our van that we game on during long car trips. Or if we take a vacation sometimes we will bring our console so we have something to do at night while in the hotel. Or have your heard of a game called SIMCITY, can you imagine when the next AAA Xbox game comes out??

For MS it's never been about games, it's about protecting their cash cow Windows OS. The only reason MS sells Xbox is because they see Playstation as a potential threat. Meanwhile with all their attention on Sony the last few years, they missed Google and Apple because they missed on mobile.

@delboy
"The next generation is not about games, not for me, it's about reliable hardware, innovation, overall service and price."
If it's not about games why buy a gaming system? Reliable hardware? We are talking about Xbox here, innovation, this is from the same company that told original Xbox owners HDMI & harddrives weren't needed this gen. And price. With Live fees you could've bought the PS3 or a nice videocard for your PC.

In the article it says Amazon asked EA for a chargeback. That means maybe Amazon asked EA for a refund on all Simcity licenses. I'd be interested to know if that is true?

" more costly price tag that will make xbox the winner this gen also"
Except that Xbox is 3rd place and most people don't care too much about sales they care about games and PS3 has far more games than 360. MS has practically abandoned the gamer over the last few years

You nailed it, games was the big difference between Xbox and PS2, 360 and PS3, and it will be the same with the next xbox and PS4. Sony is really the only company left supporting hobby gamers
