You don't have to be techie to understand all this just use common sense.
When you buy a video card does it have DDR5 or does it have DDR3 and eSRAM? That tells you all you need to know.
I've found Amazon prices in general are creeping up.

It's probably the size of the processor. It is probably used to manage downloads when sleeping, but my guess it manages video recording, sharing, etc.. when the system is fully powered.
My gaming PC has 1000w power supply. So eat it PS4 owners.. Just kidding :)

PC is superior but for the price PS4 is a deal. The PS4 costs what I paid for just the videocard on my PC
1080p does make a difference a big difference. Especially if you game on a large TV or a projector.
People saying they can't see the difference remind me of last gen when they would say they couldn't see the difference between DVD and Blu-ray.
We got these same articles when PS3 launched. Hence the grill picture...
Personally I'm not worried at all. I've owned a lot of Sony products and they have all been outstanding.
You will still be able to Netflix, youtube, download movies, listen to music, etc.. with PS4
The difference is Sony understands gamers buy a console for games.

Xbox didn't come around because MS cares about gamers or entertainment or consoles.
They saw what Playstation was becoming.. You can view the internet, load your pictures, music, movies and even print with it... They saw Playstation becoming a threat to their near monopoly on Windows OS and they will spend and lose billions to protect that.
PS+ is one of the primary reasons I bought a Vita and am going to buy a PS4.
It's the best deal going in gaming.
Or just maybe they are thinking there are a thousands of people ready to spend money on PS4 and they want a good piece of that action.
Xbox costs more because MS has the attitude that people will pay it. MS has never been shy about over charging their customers.
In my opinion the better specs of the PS4 more than make up for the extra expense of Kinect. PS4 is the better value, nobody can argue that especially if you throw in PS+
Sony has games for everyone. That's what makes Playstation so great. We have a family of 5 and 4 of us are gamers. Male and female. PS3 is on almost everyday and we are launch owners. Meanwhile our Wii hasn't even been turned on in at least 2 years. Infact it could be dead and I wouldn't even know.

You have no idea what your talking about. The matchmaking is not slower. Infact more people are online with PSN than Live because everyone who owns a PS3 can play. And PS3 has a much larger variety of games online due to it's exclusives.
