Online is essentially confirmed now. The way he worded it made it sound like it would have online multiplayer too.
If they released a custom wii u for XCX, I would totally buy another wii u!
Enjoy it man, it's unlike anything else on the market.
I'm going to midnight release!!!!!
I'll also add that this commercial is currently up on YouTube, and it talks about the functionality for the other games.

It wants it's game back.
Ubisoft doesn't deserve my support.
She's a horrible actress.
Too early to tell. You act like the Smash Bros. functionality is the only major Amiibo functionality that will ever come out. Give them time to get their marketing out for each and every game. Each game has a certain amount of compatible Amiibo that unlock extra content. Hell, I'll just buy the Amiibo I want and see how many games I have that work with it. I get your point about not being clear about it, but right now there are only a few Amiibo, and currently their flagship Amiibo title ...
Yet, it is unsurprisingly less popular with adults.
I can't even imagine how much of a broken mess the game would have been if they had put it on Wii U as well, considering they can't even get it working properly on the consoles it was designed for. At least they were 'honest' in telling us why it's not on the Wii U. Apparently, though, they created a game that can't be run on any computer/console in the entire world...HOORAY FOR QUALITY CONTROL!!!!!!!!!

#ACU: Game of the Year Edition
Splatoon, Devil's Third, and Captain Toad Treasure Tracker say hi.
Was that sarcasm? Cause if it was you forgot the tag.
@AngelJuice
Because he's their mascot. Mario is the face of Nintendo, and the more he is involved in the marketing, the more copies they will sell. That's like asking Ubisoft to change the Assassin Logo for their next game. It's an icon of the company, and last I checked Mario is a character who is present in multiple IP's.
Looking at what AC:Unity looks makes me kinda glad it's not on Wii U, cause if they can't develop a non-broken game for an x86 architecture, how can i develop for a ppc architecture and make it work?
I took one look at that picture on number five and died of laughter. I miraculously came a minute later, and then proceeded to die again. Here, enjoy. http://cdn3.whatculture.com...
Those line graphs in the video weren't shady at all./s
Stupid Bloomberg trying to make Nintendo look bad by not labeling their graphs.
I gave up on it after Assassin's Creed 3, just got so boring. Also, the Watch Dogs/Rayman/ZombiU/No DLC Wii U crap that Ubisoft pulled kinda made me lose a lot of respect for them as a gaming entity.
I've got a 2TB hard drive hooked up, I'm good.
