In North America the ps3 came out on Nov 22 2006 while the 360 came out nov 11 2005.

But that seems to mean for the 360 crowd that the ps3 is behind even though the yearly sales of the PS3 would suggest other wise.
I predict that by this time next year the gap between the 360 and PS3 will be very much smaller then it is now.
I don't know about anywhere else, but in Canada you can buy a 3 year warranty for $50cnd at future shop.
Before you bots all start in on me for buying a 3 year warranty just remember you guys pay that a year just to play online.

I thought there was a fireware update in the future that will fix the BC issue for all PS3s.

I hated the fact that you had almost no freedom to move around the game.You were basically pushed in the direction you needed to go.

1) The only reason there is an 8 million unit gap is because M$ had a 353 day (or 11 days short of 1 year) headstart.If Sony had a 1 year head start you would probably see a BIGGER GAP then just 8 million units because of the PS2 FAN BASE!
