With this build you're better off staying with the ps4.
You want to build a gaming rig?... then do it right!
This build is a joke!
I think you and many others are lost in the nostalgia of socom II. I don't think you'll ever get the socom days back, not like it was back in the day.
This is H-Hour, accept it and move on.
And Americans think they're free...
Slowly they are stripping our rights away, and people don't even see it. It is even easier to do when some people say shit like "...what sort of shit are you doing to be blackmailed in the first place...if I was doing anything dodgey then fair enough I'd be paranoid but I ain't no one special and I keep myself to myself if u aint a dodgey fucker then you have no reason to be paranoid".
Sooner or la...

Bullshit... like I said before, maybe with outdated tech, but it wouldn't out preform the ps4. You would have to go with cheap ass bare bones to build a gaming rig at that price.
Mid range pc that costs more and they don't provide gpu specs? My guess is you're paying more for less... wouldn't doubt if all you get is an amd 7790 at the most.
But you can upgrade... ya spend another $300 for a higher end gpu, and hopefully they didn't cheap out on the psu so you wont have to upgrade that as well.
Guarantee you be paying more for less.
I laugh at you guy's who think you can build a better pc for $400...
maybe pc and Titanfall ...X1? ..hahaha
@Chris
By that logic then the xboxone must be the better gaming machine. It's clearly more expensive then the ps4 even if you add the ps4 cam.
I also do enjoy pc gaming, especially the so called xbox exclusives that I play on my rig.

If you need two Titans or even two amd 7990's to run star citizen maxed out then the dev's made a serious mistake.
You're talking about a space sim, I bet you that I will be able to run star citizen maxed with an i5 750, an amd 7850 2gb gddr5, 8 gb ddr3 with no problem.
I doubt it, they may have a loose acquaintance , but if these two are buddies or chums then they really need to consider the forum that they are speaking in. If they were buddies then why not pick up the phone, text or email? Why tweet this shit so everyone can see it and misinterpret it?

It ain't 2006 any more, after the crash in 08/09 people think harder about parting with their money. You may be right in some cases or with parents buying xmas gifts, but I doubt that most who want a PS4 and can't find one will settle for an xb1.

I may get Titan fall aswell ... for PC.
I agree, I think Sony will sell out with every new shipment of consoles released... at least with in the first 6 months.
Just my opinion , but what do I know? PS4/PC FTW!
So buy the disc based game then... there, problem solved.
He was also described as having "significant mental health issues."
It's funny that this just happens to be the very last sentence in the article.
Access to guns and mental heath issues... go figure.
Why would Samsung spend money to buy xbox when even MS has forecast it to lose 1 billion or more in it's first years?
Edit: I don't believe xbox is sellable at all.
Your shitty amd 5770 is only 4 years old and launch price was $350 AM. It's not far off from this generations 7770 (which is what I have btw), but I can guaranty you that your PC didn't cost you $400 even four years ago.

What pc gamer plays their games on low settings..lol?
I play on ps3(ps4 very soon) and pc and I can tell you that playing games with a shitty gpu sucks.
"That depends in large part on a user's Internet connection speed. Ideally, he said, they wouldn't have to wait more than an hour before beginning to play the partially downloaded games. Other games may be set up differently, allowing users to start playing them sooner or requiring them to wait longer".
If this is a problem for you then buy the disc based game and play with in minutes.
EDIT: By the way , nowhere does he say minimum an hour....
@Caddylss
500GB does seem kind of small when games are so big, but at least with the PS4 you have options to upgrade the hdd unlike the xboxone.
Being a PC gamer I have all my games installed on my hdd, and I prefer it that way. I am going to upgrade to the largest hdd that I can.
You can't be mad about having options.
What dmesdor said is true. It seems that 99% of you guys misunderstand what the 100% statement means.
And how much money is the latest high end gpu?
