I agree with your statement about what a Batman game needs to have in order to be a great game, however your statements about Burton nailing the series down is downright ridiculous.
The new movies ARE Batman in every way, shape and form. The Burton films are just the idea of Batman dramatized with gothic ideas that aren't accurate to his history in the comics. The Nolan films are the comics brought to life.
I was concerned this movie would just take the bullet-time parts and build a generic film around it, but it seems as if they are actually basing it on the story. When I watched this trailer it sent me into flashbacks of playing this awesome game and that impressed me considering I was expecting this to be worse than sh!t.
PG-13 rating does concern me, though. Let's see how they handle it. At best it could be a decent adaptation, something we haven't really seen with any vi...
mesh1, you are the resident negative nancy.
You couldn't give me this game for free. Not a 360 hater because I have one, but DAMN! I'm so sick of generic military shooters...i'd rather have Gears of War 2 or Resistance to mix it up with a little bit of sci-fi!
you have a lot of anger in your heart about gaming.
if you play madden for achievements you're playing for the wrong reasons anyway.
achievements are wack anyways (and i do have a 360 so im not saying that because of console preference).
I could care less whether or not the price drops because I already own a 360. But this idea seems moreso life a lateral move.
Don't worry, it will.
but seeing as I already have a Halo 360 I want this to be for my PS3!
Batman is all I need to dish out a thorough a$$ whoopin.
I don't see what the big issue is. They asked a simple question as to whether anyone thinks the cutscenes are too long. I would say the majority of the people who played the game agree that they aren't long at all, but I believe they were just trying to get a gague on how people other than them see it.
I personally could have handled longer cutscenes but as they are it's perfect.
Silogon quit being a negative nancy.
OT: fitting that this magazine reviewed this game. the first thing i did was roll up a few blunts and puffed away. it made the experience that much better.
your hate of blu-ray is baffling
This is a game made for the fans and I completely understand that some people just don't like it. I'm just glad i've found a game that my gf actually wants to try to play (she sucks at controllers with dual analog sticks lol).
He's not going to be Robin Hood.
I don't know about him being Solid Snake. Then again I don't think anyone could do the role justice that is currently in Hollywood, not even Christian Bale (one of my all-time favorite actors).
Double my age! That must mean i'll have TWO PS3's in my future!!!!
LOL
I'm still waiting to see something impressive for this game. I still don't see what the big deal is, even after hearing exactly what the first one was about.
Wake me up when Gears of War 2 comes out. The only 360 game i'll be purchasing this year at all.
It shouldn't really matter to the person that is playing the game. I'm still playing it and I think it's THE best game I've played. However, I know a few of my friends who have played the originals and they still don't like this new game. Opinions are different in every person, that's why they are called opinions.
If WE enjoy the game, let's enjoy it and leave the people who don't enjoy it to talk whatever. Their loss that they are missing one one of the greatest games of a...
I haven't seen one 90min cutscene throughout what I have played. I think you are mistaken.
That is your opinion and I respect it.
For me GTA4 is repetitive, deriative and unoriginal. Graphics are good for a GTA game, however with a city so beautiful there isn't much to do in it after you've beaten the game. That was never the case in previous games. The story limps on after the irish brothers' missions.
What I have played of MGS4 is better in every aspect and definately has more replay than GTA4. It is the benchmark for all current gen games to ...
I believe that he was actually out of breath in certain scenes, especially towards the end. You could tell that he was wore out from battling the cops and The Joker. As far as his voice, he's got to disguise his voice somehow. I think it sounds like it is described in the comics: a low-pitched hiss.
I'll agree that Keaton was a good, if not great, Batman. He was lacking as Bruce Wayne, however. Bale has had Bruce Wayne down even before he was Batman....American Psycho? ...
