OT: I still play W@W from time to time and I have never bought any dlc for it. So, paying for elite doesn't appeal to me. I don't personally like the idea of buying a game, then turning around and spending even more money on dlc, that I find to be way overpriced.

I've never been into this type of game. But if it's the one I'm thinking of I'm actually excited to get my hands on it.
I'm honestly impressed with the support they have given Red Dead. Granted I don't have my copy anymore. It's just good to see developers or whoever taking care of their fans.

Are we judging the GAME or the people playing the game? Although my vote either way would go for the Battlefield series. (can't judge BF3 vs MW3 as I haven't played either yet). But I think what keeps CoD out of the fight is the people who actually play the game. Sometimes on W@W you get lucky and people work together.
