Should they cut it?
I don't care to be honest but if your so poor to where you can't cough up an extra $100 to buy a PS3 then tough luck.
I really can't see anyone not being able to afford a PS3, but when it comes to a $100 cheaper console, they can. Think about it, $100 is practically two games in which you would buy within a month guaranteed.
Sometimes I really just believe people are freaking cheap who have no right to complain about a $100 difference...

It is a bit of a pain to compare trophies that much is true, but I only do it on rare occasions so it's not a biggie for me.
Slims usually consist of less components (costing less to produce) that where not needed in the final build of the first version of the PS3, so I can see a price cut pretty soon.
I mean there's pretty much no other reason to make a smaller system, sure it's a plus being able to move it around and travel with it rather than that 20 pound monster that's out now..other than that I see no other reason to make a slim version.

Me personally, I bought it day one. This game was well worth the $60 and with a 5.1 surround sound to add to the creepiness I was in Horror heaven.

I don't think I'd get it due to the lack of me playing the PSP and DS. I really only use them for on the road, so having a third hand held would be a bit of a waste.
I just wouldn't have time for all 3, haha.
The hype was a flop yes, but the sales, game, and reviews were nothing but great.
No need to go raging into the PS3 forums. Bundles are a great deal, whether they come with games like LBP or KZ2.
It's not an attempt to sell more games, it's an attempt to sell more units. Seeing how the PS3 slim is just around the corner, it makes sense with bundles like these.

I get your point but you don't need to be so blunt as to assume that every exclusive is a flop if they're bundled.
There's no point in trying to compare PS3 exclusives and how well they sell with the 360's seeing how the top sellers are pretty much nothing but FPS's.
The 360 has an FPS fanbase to it, so anything with a gun, and blood they'll practically eat up. It's a no brainer.
On the other hand, KZ2 did have a great release and has sold quite a lot...s...
It's like they were selling the PS3 for $299.99...cept technically you'd be paying for the two games.
Not much difference anyway seeing how you'd buy those even after you bought yourself a PS3, sometimes I wonder if people even see how great a deal like this is.
Most go nope and say it MUST have a $299.99 tag on it or I'm not getting a good deal.

It's hard to win over an FPS crowd, since that is about the only system seller I've seen on the 360 thus far.
Maybe if it was an FPS on the scale of GoW's awesomeness people would buy a PS3 for it...
