The thing that get's me is just HOW do they know it can't be done on the 360? I'd love it if there was some trial where those same developers, say ND, took what they knew to the 360 and made UC2 for it keeping everything the same.
Then we would truly see if the 360 could handle what UC2 brings to the table.
No fanboyism here, just straight up curiosity.
I reserved this on amazon (whoohoo for $10 gift cards!) but after reading about it I may end up just waiting till it's cheaper. Can't say I'm dissapointed cause I had a blast with the demo even though pretty much everything was the same...but it's so damn fun.

Sony made some bold moves/mistakes and yet they keep moving forward.

360 had a year head start
$600 starting price (are you kidding me?!) Amazing thing is it still sold
That's about the two most logical reasonings behind it, not because it "has no games/games don't sell on PS3".
So in Sony's eyes from that right there I'd say they're pretty damn happy with what they've done and gotten away with. ;D
I see nothing wrong with that, for one you get trophy compatible PS2 games, two it's in HD, and three you get three for the price on one...in most cases.
Other than that I can't really think of a reason to be mad about that or even a bit miffed. =P Now where's my SoTCHD?!
That's the beauty of blu-ray, they never scratch so I hardly ever worry about used games. I still look at the bottom though just in case, and game cases are a big factor when I buy used. I'll turn down a game that would be 90% off if the case had even a minor crack or tear in the display.

I never cared for G4 or their opinions so that's out of the question. The thing I look at is what if you took away those lush enviorments and character builds and all you had left was the gameplay? You'd have a very generic/boring (IMO) FPS.
UC2...still would be a blast. Halo...we'll it's not the best looking but it's still hell a fun. Gears...still a good time. KZ2 still great but I admit it did get a little boring after I tried playing again some ...

And yet you had kids out there that bought Halo Wars and found nothing but dissapointment cause they thought it was their favourite shooter...not RTS. The name sells, not saying the game is not fun cause I enjoy the hell out of it...at least I did with 1 and 2.
That's really not a big deal. What's the point of an amazing looking game if the gameplay is meh at best? No really big battles going on, no major fights, only a couple enemies on the screen at once (based on what we've seen). They're using so much of the 360's power just to get those kind of graphics, could explain the lack of excitment and huge gun wars, wouldn't be able to handle the graphics and chaos at the same time.

Rage is a beauty but it doesn't have much going on at any particular time, once it shows you being blasted at by a helicopter in a crumbling building while fighting baddies and all the while the graphics stay solid and gorgeous, then you can tell me Rage is the better game.
But for now it's nothing more than a pretty game with a gun.
This is just what I've been waiting for, Borderlands with DLC included as well as being a GoTY edition...nice.
