I'm actually not disappointed. The team that were supposed to work on this put it on hold and went to FFXIII, which is a disappointment in many eyes. The same team is working on FFXIII-2 and it seems as if they are fixing those mistakes. Versus is next so it will probably be perfect.
If Versus had 100% development before XIII, it would most likely have been a disappointment.
