I think scripted chatter has been blown out of proportion. It's really not that bad.

Exactly. E3 isn't the place to announce games that aren't ready to be shown. Even announcing and showing off a game too early in development is a risk (Watch_Dogs). They should have saved the developer diaries for GDC.
Considering it can possibly only have been in development for little over a year (since EA got the rights just a little over a year ago), then yeah, of course it's extremely early. A trailer would have sufficed but I understand.
What I don't understand, though, was the way Mass Effect and Mirror's Edge were treated.
It's funny because originally, the article made NO mention of IGN Russia. It's like masterful self-destruction. If not true, their Russian colleagues are waking up right now and feeling pissed.

I think it's amazing that people were so invested in this rumor. We've only seen one trailer for the game and it showed no gameplay. All we know is that it's about a boy and his bird. And STILL people were sad and in denial.

P4G spoiled me with all its additional content but I think anyone who hasn't been able to play P4 should definitely give it a shot if they own a PS3. You won't regret it.
I played around with the idea of playing as Clementine in TWD Season Two but after 400 Days, I figured they'd make a new character for us to play as and Clementine would be reduced to some supporting role.
