I've introduced 11 people to the game since I've had it and all of them are wanting to come over and play some more. Im having a LBP party tonight as well. It really is that good. If you don't own both consoles like me, it's obvious both these games deserve everyone to play them as they are going to own this holiday and beyond. It's truely dissapointing as a gamer to know great games get overlooked cause people are biased. Where'd the REAL gamers go?

how are you turned off by Gears gameplay? I take it you've accepted Socom's gameplay for PS3... why can't you be as redeaming for Gears 2?
if you think Gears 2 looks like Gears 1. I've seen way too many HUGE @$$ boss fights to count just to name a big noticable improvement. Gears 2 leaves 1 in the dust with all it's new improvements. Until you've accepted the new gameplay vids/trailers or have played the final retail copy of the game... judgement shouldn't be passed!
like MGS wouldn't feel right on Xbox. I also wouldn't want to own a game for a system that don't have the complete series on it, would feel too empty!
that Sony just needs to expect the largest online demand for its exclusive games. I feel this stuff should becoming a thing of the past for Sony. Their exclusives will sell by the dump truck loads and to dismiss insane online activity is pretty foolish. Until the patch Im not worried about online anyways, I will have my LBP fun offline!
EVERYWHERE has it but the EBGAMES I have it reserved and paid off at. Almost caved and bought it else where. But was informed via phone by the manager that Im getting the strategy guide for free for the prolonged wait and inconvience. I guess the wait did pay off cause I was going to get the guide regardless!

Love it or hate it, but Halo is a bigger beast than Resistance and has earned its high status... that not even Resistance 1 and 2 combined can even touch. Hell, Gears is my fav. of the 2 biggest games that 360 has exclusive and it's no where near holding a candle to Halo... especially in sales. All FPS for consoles need to respect what Halo has done for them on consoles, yet alone Halo was the 1st console online FPS to get the genre to where it is today!. when Siren: Blood Curse is a download only game here in the US (I want the hardcopy so haven't played it). But Im sure the DL only version has actually hinderd the performance of that game!
Silent Hill: Homecoming was ruined by the new devs. I feel the game is overall pretty enjoyable and what not. But it actually made me go back and relive the good old days of 1 + 2 insted.

Personally lost interest in 4, but bought it and played the hell out of campaign. I didn't like the online cause if I even missed a day or 2 of it (cause I'd rather play Gears/Resistance), I'd come back and get owned. If you don't play religously to maintain rank... you just get owned hxc. But if I want to play another solid COD games campaign again at least, I think it'll have to wait for COD6 by Infinity Ward!
to have enemies that could match the size of resistances... I think the point of views work differently for each game, in the way they give you the scope of the battles. That thing at the end looked huge as all f**king get out!

for 360 and PS3 failing is well known between fanboys of both sides. Sony has done a lot for this industy thus why they are still highly looked up to and I know that ticks off 360 fanboys. people are already speculating 09? everyones a fortune teller with crystal balls these days. People still praying for the 360's demise, we will see how this pans out when 09 finally hits. I already have 2 PS3 controllers and both don't have rumble. I'd rather have new games than new controllers... I have plenty of current PS3 games that support rumble that would be BA if I just had the controllers for it (1 of my beefs with Sony). This is just another 1 of those games that looks as if Im going to have to cave for a dualshock controller...heh
This franchise should've been built up from the ground up for the PS3 as the franchise started on PS2!
