BUT... if this game is a GOTY contender, I don't see how this DLC will be overlooked. I pay for Premium Themes on XBL... after my system update on my PS3 last night and surfing through LBP free downloadable costumes (turkey,tv, and venus flytrap). I noticed the Premium Themes came with prices... seems both charge for Premium Themes!

I feel Sony won't get the crown. Yes I own Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Resistance 1&2, MGS4, LBP, etc.. But they look like what I'd expect this gen. Killzone 2 and Heavy Rain however do destroy 360's graphics by far. So in 09 I will gladly say PS3 takes the crown. But if Sony wants to keep that crown in my eyes, they had better get ALL their games on graphical par with KZ2 and HR... to truely showcase why GRAPHICALLY their system is the better choice! cause 2 games don't justify to me why ...
Sure Wii outsold 360 and PS3 with it being the cheapest. But now 360 is cheaper and should compete well with the Wii I'd imagine. Especially to the people that need their mature gaming fix... what a great price!.

my choice is simple. Resident Evil would feel out of place on 360. ALL of my online friends are on 360, but playing online co-op in Fable 2 made me realize NO ONE on Live loves to explore as much as me. They just cut to the chase to win and beat the game. I like hunting to unlock achievements and stuff. Something my fellow impatient gamers do not care about. If you truely look at the graphics in MGS4 they look Playstation-ish. It has a souped up PS2 look too it. Oh it's definatley next gen, but if you truely look at it... you can see it shows its roots of being on playstation in the graphics department. Which in ways made the graphics so-so to me. The problem with Gears 2 is the fact the Unreal Engine that the game runs on, is overly abused and people are getting sick of seeing it used so frequently!.

360's controller changed for the console. Aside of a few tweeks, Sony did nothing new with theirs. Same shape and everything.
Sony has motion sensors, 360 don't. But how effective is the inclusion in the sixaxis? that is what makes it seem pointless. Only time sixaxis works for me in Mirrors Edge is when Im balancing across a pole. Disarms, rolls, etc. NEVER WORK!. Motorstorm 1... try stearing using sixaxis and tell me it's fun, it's painful. I've have more pointless expierence...
if you believe quality software cannot be found outside of PS3! don't kid yourself!

That would totally ruin COD for me for sure, I haven't ran into that crap on R2 YET! and definatley not in Gears 2. Im glad the gameplay is the best in the MK series in years. I've played this game every day since I bought the Kollectors Edition for my PS3 on sunday. It's so sad this game is being over looked. and I still prefer Gears 2. The fact almost every shooter is first person, everything looks the same and is dull to me. The third person view and style of gameplay is fresher than what R2 continues to do. But both are great games. I just prefer Gears 2 gameplay more, it's a fresher expierence and not so "been there, done that"
