Your going to get sick, I have the same problem.
9 downvotes for a justified statement. Yep we are on N4G
I have a problem paying 60$ for a 6yr old game because they shoved VR into it. Ill buy star child and Moss instead of Skyrim Vr....pointless
Keep making fun all you like its got this bad because people didnt listen when it was cosmetic stuff only.
"Requests from AMA participants to hear DICE's internal averages were sadly ignored - particularly disappointing given that the highest-rated question throughout the AMA had been, "In the numbers you all have run, how many hours would it take the average user to unlock all items available at release without spending additional money?"
Of course they arent going to tell you bcause my guess is everyone on reddit who has done the math is pretty close and the...
You the respawn EA just bought? It will mean no more quality than any other dev EA has bought.
The fact someone is at least looking is sometime enough to spoke them into change sometimes thats good sometimes its bad but its better than no one doing anything.
No it wasnt I was gaming before the ESRB the ESRB was developed and put in place by the industry to cut off governement over sight.
Thats a crap answer and no real regulation. Other wise I wouldnt be getting call c--k sucker on CoD by a 6yr old. Leaving it in the hands of the average consumer is how we got here. The average consumer isnt as informed and pub, devs and the indusrty know it and count on it to make money.
Can I resell the stuff I get in loot creates to recoop money? Magic cards gain vakue over time so I dont consider them gambling plus when was the last time magic the gathering was in the news for preditor practices ? This is every defenders standard defience now the "what about" tactic. Magic cards arent a problem but MT are becoming a problem fast.
Trade cards are tanglable, collectable , tradeable and gain value over time. Loot crates dont. If belgium finds its gambling it really isnt going to effect anything in the US. It may get someone here to look into it ans sometimes thats enough and some of those F2P games should be investaged as gambling cause they all arent very good but still work the same way. Not all FP2 games use loot boxes either and they dont have to die just remove the loot boxes and problem solved. They can still offer...
You mean the team that developed one of the most unopitimized games in the last 5 yrs? That avalanche?
The short answer its not but when is the last time you seen or read about the major player backlash on candy crush?
You mean the rating boards that where put in place by the industry and made up of industry people will back the industry players? No way!!!
Sometime the fact someone begins digging is enough to derail a trend or at least get something to change. Why do you think all these loot box games have in game currency you buy instead of just using money? They are trying to have some technical BS to fall back on like " its not gambling because its not real money players use in game credits that can be earned" well its still gambling. Can I buy in game credits with real money? Yes then its gambling because I can then use it in game...
About time.
How do you "win rounds" when its a MP ? Good for you you unlocked a hero after they lowered the amount. You paid less then 10hrs after they lowered the amount.
Its obvious after reading several of your comments, you'll justify, apologize and defend anything the devs do in this game. The fact progression is available for purchase in loot boxes is the problem. Why is that so god damn hard for you to understand? The ability to purchase cards to improve your chara...
If you dont understand that supporting any MT is how we have gotten to this point, then you havent been paying attention. The stance of "I dont buy them" doesnt fly anymore. Games arent being designed around good mechanics or a worth while experiences anymore they are being designed around how much money can they convince you to spend on MT or how they can increase your discomfort enough to convince you to buy MT.
If you dont think it matters then your just as big...
Nope cause he obviously has plenty of money. See people like him have the misguided view of "it wont change, nothing can be done, its just MT" the other favorite I hear is, its just video game, yeah its just a 79 billion dollar a year industry that supposedly isnt enough for devs to feed their families on, those views are misguided because it hasnt hit something he cares about yet.
AC:O single player has been now built around selling you "time savers", N...
Boom, more than like it has more to do with the Belgium government investigating lootboxes than customer feed back.
