Who said it would turn the tide? It was said all games would look and run better on the X1X and that's true. But, I never heard anyone say it would turn the tide on PS4. That would be silly because PS4 has too much of a lead.

That is the part they gloss over. No matter how many they sales it still doesn't make AAA titles look or run as good as they do on X1X. That's more important and something that improves my gaming experience not, sales stats.

How do you know? Are you a Dev that worked on the game or a fanboy on damage control trying to find an excuse? The X1X is a better mid cycle update than the Pro. That is a fact that is proven time and time again.
Take a deep breath, you will be fine but just think the X1X hasn't been out for a month and the Gap is easy to see. Just wait as time goes on I think the Gap may get even larger.

I'm not missing your point. Devs say alot and don't always deliver. They promised a sound patch for GT5 and 6 that never came out. Should reviewers have add that to their review? They can only review they are given. Not what it could be. They have no idea what will be added, the quality of it or when. They could have delayed release till the content was ready but, they didn't.

But, the new power doesn't just make the games look better but, the run better. The games feel smoother and it's something my kids and I noticed. And this is across the board not just enhanced games and that is most important thing with the improved graphics being the cherry on top. Even on my 82" you can see the difference. So far I'm very happy with my X1X purchase.
