I still think the overall consensus was good though. They should have stuck more with the book, but still they told a great story.
I agree with the sequel idea. It's hard to watch a trailer for the sequel without it being spoiled. As far as tv shows, I think of Lost, and how it would take you many months to get through all 6 seasons.
Someone needs to invent a spoiler filter so people like me can avoid stumbling across game-ruining information.
I think it's unfair for those of us who don't buy the day of the release. I will eventually play the game, but don't want it spoiled. I'm afraid about what is going to happen with all the big October releases. I don't want them all ruined for me before I play them.
Go look at a Wii commercial and then look at a Move commercial. "It brings the family together!" "It gets you off the couch!" They should at least tip their hat at the Wii. Yes they redesigned it and I'm sure it will be big hit, but as for redefining gaming I doubt it.
We shall see. Move is nothing more than a glorified Wii controller. Just my opinion.
Indeed. That is why Bungie is one of the best out there. Their games never seem to disappoint the masses, although there have been a few complaints here and there. Overall though they make great games.

Not too many games came out in August so I don't think there was much competition. With football season starting this month it was only natural that this game would sell big.
I like to call that "Napoleon Dynamite syndrome". Something becomes so overhyped beforehand that the final product is spoiled. Halo is a big culprit when it comes to the overhype.
