My hunch is that Naughty Dog is helping them port the game as they have yet to announce Uncharted 2 or a new project. This is awesome news!! Bioshock will awesome for the PS3!
Does this really look improved over Sigma for PS3? I'm not trying to cause problems, but seriously the game really hasn't come leaps and bounds as I was hoping.
Yeah I totally agree. Itagaki, please "shut the hell up" and focus on your own games. It's not cool when he's ripping on other developers like he has downplayed Heavenly Sword and Devil May Cry on numerous occassions. Don't start a flame-war, man. As a PS3 owner, I definitely recognize Gears 1 and Gears 2 as excellent looking games. But we also have our share of great, in my opinion, better looking games. These include Uncharted, GT5, Ratchet and Clank, UT3, and some other good ones in the pipeline like Resistance 2 and Killzone 2. Be respectful of all games man. They are all great in their own right. Don't forget that people are no longer attacking the hardware failure rate of the 360... Don't get too arr...
To me sales numbers don't mean a thing. Shooters are huge sellers on the 360 because most owners are super hardcore. You can't expect Resistance 2 to outsell it on the PS3 because there is a smaller user base and Playstation owners aren't as much a "shooter crowd."
Having said that, I have NO DOUBT that Resistance 2 will be a better game than Gears of War 2.

I feel that Rockstar is more at fault than the video game reviewers because if one site refuses, they'll just find another willing pawn.
I don't think that Rockstar rigged all the review sites. But I think they rigged their early exclusive with IGN and got their 10/10. Then all the other competing sites followed suit. I don't know if you remember that originally Gamespot had given GTA 4 a 9.5/10 but then they changed it to a 10/10.

Wow and I remember when everyone was upset because the PS3 delayed GTA4 because it wasn't running well at all. I guess them delaying the game and taking their time to refine it pays dividends. I promise you this will be the best selling game of 2008 with this review. It's been 9 years since IGN gave a 10/10.

Sorry I think you misunderstood. The game native resolution MAY be 1080 vertical resolution and 960 horizontal resolution and then the horizontal pixels are doubled via upsscaling to 1920. So technically it is still 1080P :)
Use the peer to peer download option rather than the HTTP option. This will start out really slow but gradually pick up speed like Bitorrent :)
No I think he means that Kojima has just come out and said he pushed the PS3 and the Cell processor to the max and he still wasn't able to achieve what he wanted graphically. So I think he's just saying that Kojima must be very demanding if 1080P graphics don't please him fully.
