What is wrong? there ARE gamers in this world you know, not just jealous 360 owners.
But the graphics do not impress me, I mean is this why they sued Epic? God it looks like a gamecube game with a few next-gen shaders. But that is not why I buy games, I buy them for the story and the gameplay.
The storyline does seem to have lots of AAA values, but the problem is, while the gameplay may be based on AAA values, the end result does not seem AAA, especially when you see the characters violate the laws of physics, I mean the physics are awful. I hate how Baldur is ac...
Too bad it was pwned by reviewers because I wanted to give it a try. My bet is that the franchise is dead to never be revived by Crapcom, but hey, that is what capcom gets for being such sellouts sometimes.
That is what Microsoft wants, a unified gamertag everywhere, including cellphones. It would not surprise me to see Gears of War listed as a Mobile LIVE game in a few years through remote play. That is why I game mostly on Sony platforms, since I know I will eventually be able to play most Xbox games on any PC regardless of how powerful it is, and I own a 360 just for the very few exceptions.
original gritty storylines and gameplay FTW
"In my opinion the PS3
shouldnt have had to play "Catch-Up" with all of these updates to be on par with the 360, It should have been equal or greater from its launch and then build up from there"
Your opinion would hold some water if Microsoft was catching up faster to other PS3 features. Too bad it is all baseless stupidity, since Microsoft can never add Blu-ray games to their roster, so they are stuck for a generation with DVD9. Also, they still have n...
Just because it is wrong to steal it does not mean it is right to give eternal punishment to those that steal information, especially information that has actually sold more ever since the dawn of "music stealing" and Napster.
It is worse to give billionaire corporations even more rights that give them indiscriminate power over a public communications gateway like the net.
What is the point of buying this for the third time if it is not a remake, just a port? The extra dungeon? Wow, gee I guess square is really putting up some effort on this one.
I am being disagreed with because this news story is obviously full of Nintendo apologists that can not see beyond their fanboyism, I feel so sorry for you lemmings, you are paying too much for something worthless.
I loved Blast Corps, that is one of the most innovative games I have ever played, I wish Rare churns out something better unlike Kameo or PDZ. Too bad Wii is nothing like the N64 was back in the days.
However, the sequels actually had differences between them, especially the ones that jump from one console to another. Brawl is simply Melee 1.5. Nintendo could have simply saved you buying another console and simply bundle the Wiimote with every new gamecube sold and give old gamecube owners like me a rebate, but no, they had to sh1t on the gamecube fanbase by selling a console that could not be less powerful because it was impossible for Nintendo to invest anything less in research and deve...
Just this week I bought FF3 for my Nintendo DS. I hate the Wii, not Nintendo. Besides, I hope for your own sake you are being sarcastic when you say that games or consoles ship complete with Nintendo, as you need a peripheral with every single game. The games ship complete? So why is playing Wii online garbage? The Wii would be patched if developers could do it, but they cant, which is sad for the Wii and its sheep, I mean, owners.
You know what is also funny? Attach rates. The ...
I will have moved to Linux. Time to start learning, I suppose...
Put up and shut up?
Look at his point and make a rebuttal. I saw him posting on Nintendo threads and he likes the DS. I have a Ken Levine avatar, the maker of Bioshock, but I like my PS3 more than my 360. Your avatar does not say much about your personal preferences, maybe just about a game. Evidently he likes halo (not me though), but he can still have a valuable opinion unless he is a fanboy like mart or POG, which he is not.
To solve all of its issues. Oh that is right, nintendo probably does not even deal with games like that.
Anyway, another sequel? Why not make NEW IP instead? Or better yet, why not wait until the NEXT console? At least we might be able to tell the difference between the next and this one unlike this one and the last one.
Did you read the article? They are not gonna rent 50 GB worth of information, they will simply combine the disc with an online solution, which is simply registration your FFXIII copy through PSN, a sort of DRM. By the time FFXIII comes out, there will be plenty of PSN users anyway, it does not matter if "not all have internet". Most people do, who the hell puts a PS3 over internet in their priority list anyway? Having internet is not a luxury anymore, like cars and cellphones (unles...
It will not be. They will simply require you to activate your copy through PSN. That way you can always use FFXIII but only with your PSN. Which is lame because if I want to lend the game to a friend he will not be able to, or even my roommate. Square Enix loves the fact that there is no piracy on PS3 and will not be for a long time (which is also incentive for them to make the game way bigger than a DVD9), and they want to squeeze as much money from FFXIII as they can, which is not allowing ...
You assume Sony did not know it would be a very tough market if they priced it at 600. You also assume the loss they have taken has not been worth it for the Blu-ray victory.
The best JRPG on 360 is Lost Odyssey, and while it is good, it is not impressive by any measures, it does not really measure up with the Final Fantasies, Dragon Quests, Kingdom Hearts and Chrono Triggers of the Past. Not even with the Wild Arms, Lufias, and several others on the list of AA or A JRPGs, if only barely.
I do not have very high expectations for the 360 JRPG games on the list, but hey, Japanese game devs can afford to put these games on 360 because it is easy to deve...
