He never expected it to be a killer game. He actually said he expected it to score around a 70 on metacritic. I think the one he was most dissapointed with was KZ. If I was Yoshida I wouldn't sweat it. If COD outscores BF4 and KZ then you know something is broken when it comes to how journos review their games.

This has me worried. I've seen a good bit of user on GAF who got the ps4 early through the TacoBell promotion who are having similar issues. Hoping this isn't a wide spread problem. Man, this would nreak my heart if after waiting 10 months for this thing I pick it up tonight only to have it break. Don't know if I could stand the agony of waiting 3-5 days knowing everyone else is already playing...Guess this is the risk we all take for being early adopters.

It'll be the games that are released in the coming months(Titanfall,Destiny,Infam ous,The Order) that really push these systems to the point where people will look at them and know that they could only be possible with next-gen technology.

For everyone disagreeing with rajman, go to IGN and check out the patch update. They clearly state that this only affects the retail copies. Reviews for COD Ghosts were in fact 1080p singleplayer on the PS4. Damn people do some research.
Yes there is a difference between retail and review copies. Go to IGN and their article update will even tell you that the review they posted(and the video comparison from the review copies) were indeed rendered in native 1080p on the PS4. This ONLY affects retail discs.

Yep, I think that regardless of what reviews say Killzone will be the best launch title for either platform. Mine is already sitting on my stand just begging to be played. Maybe send me a friend request on PSN if you ever want to play some MP with my mates and I. We're all close to or in our 30's so we like playing with mature fun guys to. I'm going to need a LOT more PSN friends so it doesn't look so bare when I pick up my PS4 tomorrow...lol
You must be able to tell the future. You're a witch or something right? IGN actually just came out and said that the version they played was 1080p singleplayer and that there will be a update on launch day to fix the framerate on the PS4 and to make the campaign 1080p on retail copies.

This is the only thing that leaves me worried about the industry going digital. I get 2.4MBps and it moves like a damn snails pace. Frontier says they can't get it any higher until 2015 when they replace the station, then I'll be able to get 15MBps. Until then though I'm stuck with this shite. Yeah, the PS3 started out the same way as far as exclusives at launch, and we all see how that turned out. The big difference this time is Sony doesn't have to worry about a low install base due to a high price of entry meaning they can focus all ttheir attention on bringing awesome exclusives out sooner.
I'm fine with only a few exclusives at launch because we have the Destiny beta to look forward to in January and Infamous in February so we wont be waiting long before we div...

Good review Colin. I was expecting an 8. For a launch game I'd say thats pretty darn good. This helped me quit thinking about Polygons vomit enducing poor excuse for a proper review.
How is it Sonys fault if it was not handled properly for delivery??? That is on Amazons end not Sonys.My PS4 hasn't been off since I got home from the midnight launch.
