I've spent 40 years "paying my way through life", going to school, defending your ass in foreign lands and depriving myself while I added to investment and retirement accounts. I'm still working like I live in poverty, over 60 hours this week. Tell me, how much of the fruits of my labor do you think you're entitled to? Get off your lazy butt and take care of yourself.
If you're concerned with a $100 price difference, you need a better job or cheaper hobby.
You realize that the PSN network has to turn over their data on demand as well, or they can't sell their product in the U.S. Have fun chewing on that a while.
Sony: the essence of corporate evil - http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
The Sony BMG CD copy protection rootkit scandal of 2005–2007 concerns copy protection measures implemented by Sony BMG on about 22 million CDs. When inserted into a computer, the CDs installed one of two pieces of software which provided a form of digital rights management (DRM) by modifying the operating system to interfere with CD co...
Fandamntastic! The last one was great; this can only be better.
Tell me, you people who rail about MS wanting to use DRM, how is that worse than Sony willfully and purposely infecting the computers of millions of customers with a root kit? Had it happened today, the corporate chiefs (cheats?) would be going to prison for computer crimes. But I guess Sony's history only started yesterday. If there is a company here with a history of mistreating its customers, its name begins with an S.
That's "inept". Are YOU drunk? Judging from the rest of the post, probably.
I note the Sony fangirls are slamming out their "Disagrees".
Actually, Sony was down yesterday, and down again in overnight trading. Easy to check; takes about ten seconds.
Won't happen. The Chinese government bans video games, most western entertainment, and even television and movies about time travel. It does not want its people to get any ideas that things could be better or even significantly different from what they currently are. I work with a lot of Chinese engineers, both in China and on temporary assignment in the U.S. and the degree of control they have exerted on them can't even be conceived of, let alone believed, by most westerners.
That's $10 billion.
I would go along with that. More tracks to run on. And, if they are imaginary tracks, making them realistic. Narrow in places, not perfectly banked, rough surfaces in places.
That's due to pushing stock tires past their grip limit. Try pushing a real street car the same way and see what happens.
The only reason doing it for the money is evil to the fanboys, is because Sony hasn't got the money to throw around.
Actually, todays market cap for Sony is $22.2 billion. Microsoft is $302.8 billion.
Or Microsoft could use less than 10% of their value and just buy Sony.
I can guarantee that, before the week is out, the Sony fanboys will be repeating half of these "rumors" as gospel truth.
Hmmm.... What's that I smell? Could it be....yes! That is definitely elitism in the air! Jeez.
Haven't read the article or the comments, have you fanboy?
Actually I'm a software engineer with HP. I don't even have to work two full hours for the $100 difference. Get an education then get a job. The hours go along with salaried positions. If you want to get ahead in life you make yourself indispensable to the employer, you don't spend your time partying and crying about poverty; that is the way of the parasite, not the producer.
