so expect around 8m ps3s for SONY since ps3 outsold x360massively in japan /eu
that 39m is the shipped numbers which include ones at warehouses /refurbished too. SONY sold around 1.2m ps3s in japan in q4 vs just 100k odd x360s. also ps3 outsold x360 2:1 in europe too so the difference is now like 4m
ps3 -35m and x360 -39m
and i tell you one other thing most x360 owners will also buy ps3 when its 200$ since most are hyardcore gamers who love gaming and LIVE
ps3 exclusives rip apart everything on every console except Crysis on very high settings . However with SPUs and steam processing ps3 will eventually reach that Crysis level graphics at the end of this gen
uncharted 2 what?
the ps3 exclusives are competing with each other for graphical supremacy . surely a good thing :)
meaning the SPUs were made to act as super-charged steam processors .I am quite sure UC2/KZ2 applied steam processing to some extent. I am convinced that most ps3 first party exclusives will take advantage of steam processing in the future. Just to let you know that each SPU could match the workforce of 100 steam processors found in any high end GPU.all SONY was missing was a proper compiler which is NOW there i guess

but if you are stubborn enough to have not purchased a ps3 (you are a wii fanboy or an x360 fanboy) , you are simply missing out on the best next gen games this gen
i request everyone to atleast rent a ps3 and play uc2 and kz2. you will surely see what a NEXT GEN game truely looks like
dont want to bash multiplat games but the exclusives of PS3 look just so much better than competition/multiplats. I just sold my copy of assassin's creed 2. was a good game but no good infront of uc2. The graphics of ac2 looks a generation below that of UC2.
i mean if you own multiplats or if you are a multi-console owner then please dont play Uc2/kz2 before playing multi-plats/games on other consoles.
with 50$ and <100$ BD drives this year and LOTR trilogy expect the number to hit 4B this year. it could be even 5B-6B as <100$ BD drives from major brands really accelerate growth

mgs 4 --good but no uncharted 2
mass effect- a crap game thats hugely overrrated
you never played uncharted 2. there is nothing on either console that comes close to UC2

Uncharted 2 has won GOTY from most of the sites so thats all you should care
they are one of the biggest sites in europe
level7 is much better than gamingbolt,tgr and other crap sites whose lame headlines plague N4G all the time
it is recognized at metacritic and Uncharted 2 has been getting GOTY from most sites if u are unaware
the game will get goty 2009 from atleast 60% of the sites worldwide.

ps3 supports hdmi 1.3 and 1.4
most tvs that you buy out there are 120 hertz/fps so yes you can enjoy games at 12 hertz
too bad x360 doesnt even support 60 fps let alone 120

mlb 09,10,rr7 ran at1080p/60f on ps3. x360 wont even have a 1080pgame
tomb raider,ninja gaiden 2 ran at 500p on x360 and 720p on PS3 :)
