I'm happy for our console brethren that get to finally experience Battlefield as it should be played :) I'll get it for my PC and it will be AWESOME! Just not day one, because I'm still looking for a Premium Edition to be announced, and not suckered into pre-ordering, getting China Rising, and then getting Premium. That happened last time with Back To Karkand.
It's the trend to name stuff "beta" these days. It also gives them freedom to blame stuff and bugs on the "it's beta" excuse. In reality it is just a demo, meant to hype up for the game.

Phenomenal deal! Also people complaining about Origin; it's not nearly that bad as people make it be, and most of these go to Steam. EA doesn't even get any profit here! (expect good publicity)
Almost the same thing as with Mass Effect 3's multiplayer, where you unlocked new gear, weapons and classes using credits earned from matches. This semms better by being customization options only.
