Oh dear...
This is what happens when big publishers take over. They want the devs to rush their games to meet deadlines before the competition, instead of taking their time and making the best possible product. Nowadays it's "the best possible release we have the time to make". Which is really sad. I'm sure most of the dev team wants to make it as smooth when it's launched, but simply they don't have the time. They have to work after the game release...
He has always loved Call of Duty though, but this time it just isn't enough. Like he said in this review, "old dog, old tricks".
Agreed. I was really tempted at one point, seeing all the gameplay from multiplayer, I liked the beta and so on... but having pre-ordered BF3 and experiencing the buggy launch didn't really excite me for it to happen again. Well, it looks like the Beta was more of an Alpha, and this is the real beta.
I'm going to get this too when the Premium Edition comes out.
Those guys sure were some lousy shots. In real multiplayer, the "one-man-army" in this would have been dead before he even got out of the water.
This article so damn ironic. Here they say they have learned from the last game, fixing bugs and providing smooth experience, but hell, people are having quite a lot of problems with the game. There's a bug that mutes the whole fricking game on everyone on the server. http://bf4central.com/2013/...
It would probably had won without the average SP campaign. Many reviews mentioned it and it probably dragged down the scores, because it is a part of the game and thus to be reviewed.
I wouldn't count for TWD Season 2 sale, because it is just releasing. Maybe in the Holiday sale it will be something like 25% off.
It sure did, and to this day, Battlefield tries to kill CoD not-so-successfully.
I hope they are also looking to make it for Linux/SteamOS... EA's probably going to make OriginOS, and it will be exclusive to that /s.
I wonder when the reviews are going to start pouring in... really excited about reading them. I'm not getting this on launch, because I'm probably waiting for BF4 + Premium deal.
"Goddamnit, remind me why the hell I'm wearing this freaking gas mask with a dark ass glass outside here in the rain... wait you're not" *gets stabbed with a knife*
Yup, it's been confirmed for a while. You actually get a discount from Steam, if you happen to own the original game + an additional discount, if you also have the DLC. All the way down to 3.99 € if you have both.
Battlefield 4 feels like a new game to most console gamers, that now get to enjoy 64 players with 60 FPS, which is good for them! I hope you enjoy it to the fullest.
But for us PC gamers, we have seen most of this before, in BF3. Commander was in BF2, so it isn't that new. New guns and vehicles are granted. This is more like "FIFA 13 -> FIFA 14". Maybe with more new features than a football game update. It's pretty easy to come to the conclusion that BF4 ...
Green army dudes forever! Probably my favourite toys ever! :D
I have a hunch that it will be 75% off later on, and then the DLC will also be cut off. I hope, at least.
Aww hell no. You'd think this feature needs quite a lot of testing.
The art style on the site reminds me of Dead Space... could it be a space horror game?
All modes can get 64 players. It's just that they say "designed" as in the optimal playercount.
There will be 64 players on rush. It just says that "designed" as in the optimal player count.
Inb4 this is taken down by Activision.
