Thats right, the release of this sickened me, not literally but it was just a highlight of the fact that devs are completely unaccountable.

You've been saying that for months now. I imagine you still haven't played it.
While I don't care for the base building(i'm the type whole will build outposts in Minecraft and simply explore/upgrade instead of collectingn materials just to build a big structure) the survival mode is fun. 20 quid is what the game shoulda been originally. This is coming from..see previous posts.
What I might do is, wait a year. Hopefully a big update or two come in. Try it then.
Survival mode is closer to what was originally promised on planets, basically the released game shoulda been closer to survival mode as it more closely describes what Sean hyped up and told us about the planets, those aspects were barely present in the original and if they were, for example..it was quite hard to find dangerous planets in the original or have the atmosphere affect you badly and materials were important to gather etc, they were too easy to find in the original.
Its not that it isn't hyped, its that...FF13 got a free pass. Reviewers were afraid of calling it bad, mostly. After FFXIII, reviewers changed their tone because the fans also backlashed. They're much more free to hate onn it if they wish, as...everyone is much more cautious now of SE and the FF name.
This is the highest lowest review i've seen on a AAA game recently. 7/10 is the lowest score..damn
This was an amzing review...Despite the flaws, you get into the magic...that is what FF has always been to me. The flaws...are always negated by the splendid-ness of it all. Almost. The devil is in the details. i'm looking forward to both the first half of the game and the second half. I want to explore the world. I want to see how it ends. I want to do these dungeons...

From what i've heard Noctis is one of the best main characters in FF. Heck Lightning wasn't even the best in FF13. Mundane too, hmmm again not from what i've heard. Not to mention the FFXIII villain was a ****ing piece of crap. Baldanders. FFXIII didn't feel satisfying at all. Again, Noctis and the mian villain of this are the highlights of the cast, being some of the best in FF < --- from what ive heard
