I'd imagine a lot of companies deciding this because it could hurt sales of a particular game. It can also help a sale too but what's the exact number on that ratio
Sometimes people make a decision to buy without too much research and a feature like this might reveal that they really don't want the game after all. This I'm guessing is a genuine concern for some devs that maybe depend on this.

Some predictable but genuinely funny comments here as usual regarding Halo2's importance. A great playing game remains just that and you'd have to be blind to ignore the greatness that was Halo2's multiplayer. Or course it's easy to say otherwise, but more often this does come from people just not liking the brand
It will be interesting to see how much of a draw this is for the potential of returning fans and the addition of many more I hope
Clearly 10/10 doesn't represent perfection but an indicator. I could find a couple things regarding how the first Bayonetta faltered just a tad, but It was so exceptionally great and deserving of the highest grade. Certainly it represented the pinnacle of the genre and thus a 10/10 was warranted
With MC collection arriving next month and the lure of this gorgeous white version of xbox, I could resist no more. And this does look like a lot fun it must be said especially if you like just larking about in a playground sort of way
A game wasted on many. Bayonetta to those that play it long enough to know is pure bliss. The sheer amount of praise this franchise gets from fans and media is surely telling enough that it is indeed great

That's just how you see things though. I bought original xbox on the strength of just one game Halo1 for £300, N64 primarily for SM64 and WiiU for Bayonetta 2. Purely for these games alone. While not everyone obviously would, I felt perfectly justified each time

To reach a conclusion of weather game is good or bad you do at least have to be versed in what makes it these things. You could literally spend years playing the first game and hopefully be developed enough to master the vast playing technique available. I imagine lot of people wont for example even know that you can stagger or alter the tempo of your combo at any point which is fully unique to Bayonetta. These two games can last you as long as you continue to game
You do realise I'm actually sticking up for this game. I think the likelihood of this getting goty is zero because when has a game of this type ever done that in the past. Can't imagine a better game this year releasing quite honestly

For me this fully justifies a WiiU purchase. You get the first incredible game included too which is the greatest bonus. Simply the best game of it's type as anyone that has played it long enough to know will tell you. Wasn't about to get a WiiU until Zelda released but this makes it just too hard to resist

There will always be abuse from those ignorant enough to do it. Vocally using a mic or not and physically too of course. Whether you're black or white, some idiot shall deem it sensible that they bully or degrade you regardless. It's a shame but it can come back to haunt some in ways they wouldn't have thought at the time. And of course Karma tends to eat them up at some point even if people think it doesn't

I love some of the N64 Rare games but certainly not all of their games were great. Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Diddy Kong Racing were especially good. Banjo was very impressive at the time and although decent, it's not a masterpiece. Same can be said of Jet Force Gemini which I personally love but recognize isn't brilliant
People talk of old Rare as gods but that's hardly the case at all. Mostly just decent and always technically great but only a couple masterpieces ...

I personally think this franchise has run it's course. I'd imagine people play these now because of the initial lure of wow from the trailers and pr etc but then end up playing simply for the story. It just feels so incredibly dull and far removed from how they're shown to be. Animation I notice is now at odds more than ever thanks to better visuals and it looks very dated. Combat too something that was decent enough first time just lacks punch when you see it these days
