If you like single-player and exclusives, go with PS3
If you like online and like multiplatform games, go with the Xbox 360

I'm not sure of XCOM being multiplatform. DC Universe Online is a Sony Exclusive. I say this because SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) created the game. In terms of Console/PC then it is not exclusive to one machine.
