Xenoblade X is fantastic. Sadly I read last month Monolith wont bring it to Switch. That game needs to come to Switch or Switch 2. Switch 2 would be able to make everything better looking, on a already fantastic looking game. Not that Switch 2 has been announced.
I absolutely love the PS4 VR! I have yet to actually do much gaming on it yet. Just lots of demos of games for it. I was watching 360 YouTube videos yesterday. There was a roller coaster, that made me feel like I was on it. There are a ton of coasters, but one in particular really was over the top awesome.
I think the PS5 visor will be better, but this is impressive!
The PS5 logo is literally the same as PS4, but with a 5. So This article is reading way too much into this.
I absolutely think FPS on the new systems should target minimum 60 fps, and 4K. I would rather have 4K 60 with options to increase them, than 8K anything. There are still people playing on HD screens and just now switching to 4K screens. I think most people who are into gaming will have a 4K screens by next holiday.
I am not even sure if our eyes can see 8K. So we are on the same page.

Seriously what kind of TV do you have? It doesn't look at all like you said! Seems with all the down votes you have, it is either you or what you are viewing it on. Maybe on the OG Xbox One it may look washed out. Or if you have a dated TV with no 4K HDR and an OG xbox One that might look bad.
I played it on my X1X on a 4K HDR 65 inch tv, and it looked great! Fantastic game!

I am new to PS4 and have not had a Playstation since PS1. Next gen is going to be initially Xbox Series X for me, as I have far more invested in my X1X than my PS4.
There are things I genuinely like better about my Xbox. The controller. The Xbox layout is better to me. I prefer the twin stick spacing, and the Dpad on Xbox controller. The PS4 buttons rather than Dpad is I also like Xboxes Home setup much better.

BOTW is a great game. I am enjoying Horizon Zero, because its different. Horizon by far has a better story. Plus I think I have Nintendo fatigue, I have been playing Nintendo every Gen for 32 years.
That is great, but 8K tvs are not common. They also carry a hefty price tag. I am sticking with my 65 inch 4K HDR Dolby Vision with Atmos sound. Can't wait for next gen! Both PS5 and Series X are going to be AMAZING!

I just got a PS4 for Christmas. I have a ton of great PS4 games. Horizon Zero is the game that has hooked me the most. It is fantastic!
The Last of Us Remastered, has me scratching my head though over the hype. I am a couple of hours in, and I am not that impressed. I am going to keep playing it though, and hope it picks up.
As a new PS4 gamer, and not having a PS since PS1 I have to say, I absolutely like the Xbox One controllers better. It is the Dpad placement. I don't like the buttons on the Dual Shock controllers. I prefer the Dpad and twin stick layout on Xbox controllers.
That being said. I love my new PS4, and my VR bundle should be here today! I didn't think PS4 VR would take off, and I was wrong.
So many Switch haters! I have all 3 current gen consoles, and appreciate being able to play Witcher 3, Doom, Breath of the Wild and other fantastic games anywhere I want.
People complaining about a graphics downgrade, they are not bad at all. Most of the games look great for being played on a hybrid. I get 50mps Internet and have very little problems streaming. When my 2 terabyte hard drive comes today for my ps4 I won't have to worry as much about that though. Many games are available to download on PS Now.
The reason the games are still expensive is because they are selling. BOTW, MK8, and Smash are always in the top 30 games sold for the month on eShop.
I have all 3 current gen systems and do not regret buying Switch for one second!
I don't know about the elite, but the OG XBOX One controllers and the one I have for my X all work great.
