The Wii U was doing what it took PS360 7 years to do graphically day one, and games like Need For Speed and Trine 2 were put out with PC Textures. Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart, X, Bayonetta 2, have far from "outdated graphics" and last time I checked there were nearly 200 games out for Wii U, and not to mention a back log of great 1st party Wii games to play as well.
To this day, I am still playing Wii U more than my PS4.
Uh, I can play a Sports Club in less than a minute. its not that hard to switch to Wii Remotes, your kids are very young so....Now getting to Wii Mode takes a little time, but hey I am glad I can use my Wii Remotes and Play Galaxy, Metroid, and all my downloads from my old Wii on my Wii U.
Agreed, and yeah Wii Sports Club came out a couple of months ago. It is free, but if you want to play online it is like 9 dollars to purchase each game for unlimited online play.
I am kind of doubting it, but who knows. Have you guys noticed, how stingy Nintendo is, about demoing their own games on e-shop? I guess they do not feel they need to, but I disagree. Although they did give us Free Online play with Wii Sports a couple of weeks ago.

I still find neat tricks I can do with the Wii U and Gamepad, a no My PS3/4 can not do them. I can switch from game to the net in two taps then back to my game, and the browser is great. I do however wish FLASH were supported, Pandora will not work because Wii U does not support it. A Pandora app would be great.
Personally, I am kind of getting tired of 2.5. I would rather have open world, with exploration than side scrolling.
Now with that said, A remastered HD 2.5 Super Metroid remake, would be great. Many gamers have not played it, and it is a great game, also development time would be shorter, and they could develop both a 3d Metroid and Super Metroid Remastered at the same time because Super Metroid would not require a large team.
I would not mind the OPTION, of switching from first to 3rd, that would be cool.
Zombi U, is not Nintendo, but you can't play it anywhere else and it is a new IP.

I have no interest in XBOX this time around. I do not like the Kinect, the tech still sucks Netflix proved that to me.
PS4 has more power and more 1st party games. It also has a better price point. XBOX has already gone down to $449 at Walmart WITH Titan download included. I doubt Microsoft thinks Xbox is doing that well to drop price and include a game 6 months out.

Nintendo should have done more months ago, I do not think waiting for Mario Kart 8 to come out is going to make much of a difference. I mean it comes out in 6 weeks.
The Mario Kart Bundles are going to sell well, I am sure. Mario Kart 8 breathes a breath of fresh air into gaming. It looks AMAZING. Why any gamer would not own a Wii U at this point in time, I do not understand. The general public I get, but not gamers.

The article was satire, not real. I did find it cute though, but common why do people have to troll Nintendo. I freaking love Wii U and the gamepad, along with my Nerf protection case!
Look at how Nintendo used the gamepad in Wind Waker HD, I think its pretty cool. Your map and weapons switching and assigning all with a swipe, and no pause. People who hate on the Wii U have not sat down and given it a shot in the past 6 months.
There is no way the game will come out this year, but Hyrule Warriors will be, so that should be interesting.
I play Wii U online all the time, Right now Mass Effect 3, yeah I know, but I had not played it. Great game and online is perfect. Rarely a hickup.
