Xenoblade X, alone is worth buying a Wii U for. You just have to get past the first hour or so. I have 120 hours on one file and 50 on another. Playing the game two different ways on two separate files.

I own the Wii version, so I just can't see buying it again I have to say though, I bought a 4K 240/720 refresh,60" TV and Wii games do not look so great. Wii U games look AMAZING though, like Xenoblade X, MK8,and Mass Effect 3. So I might pick it up.?. I have to see how TP Wii version looks on this TV first
I just bought an 4K Vizio 60" model M60-C3 on clearance at Walmart for $698, its sold out online but here in So Cali I found one at a store 50 miles away! Same TV at Best Buy is 1,400! Anyway Xenoblade X looks fantastic on it!
This TV according to CNET has one of the best reviews on this TV for lag time on a TV of this caliber it is "virtually non existing. Check your walmarts and see if they have this TV, its an amazing value!
I saw that, but an update on Zelda U/,NX? Most of us think Zelda U, will come to both systems, even though Nintendo has not said as much. I know there will be No NX news.
Also first and second party games listed to release this year is pretty lacking. So a new Wii U game announcement would be great!

Um, when Dreamcast came out it was the most powerful system available. In some ways it was MORE powerful than PS2.
GameCube, had more power than PS2, as well as XBOX. PS2 was the weaker of that gen, but it still won, and went on to be the 1 selling game console o all time.
I am a huge Nintendo fan, that being said, this HD remake did not get even close to WWHD's. So I say meh. Also the character Midna's laugh was super annoying!
Nintendo just remade this game because of the lack of games coming this year. That's what I think anyway. NX will release this year, unless Nintendo announces more first party games for Wii U soon.
FRN, is fantastic! I just picked it up last week! This looks fun too....man "gamers" are missing out that have not picked up Wii U!
I like the gamepad, but it SUCKS for Fast Racing Neo. My hands were cramping terrible! I can't even imagine Xenoblade X without the gamepad,along with a ton of other Wii U games.
BTW, Fast Racing is FANTASTIC, but the pro-controller, or Wii Remotes, are much easier (for me) to use.
This article says Nintendo is going after the "younger" gamer with NX. That simply is not true. Nintendo wants to get the as many gamers back as possible with NX. I do not remember exactly what the President of Nintendo said, but to intentionally go after younger gamers is not what Nintendo intends to do with NX.

Wow, a 6.5 for gameplay, I personally would give gameplay an 8.5, but that is me, and quiet a few other reviewers.
The only thing for me that shows Wii U's "lack of power" the pop in, and up close textures. The game is still beautiful,Massive, and seamless!
Xenoblade, Bayonetta, MK8,SSB,Splatoon, Fast Racing Neo, and a bunch more are worth your money. Pick one up refurbished, and bundled.
BTW, that really sucks you lost all of your games. The same thing happened to me with my first ipod. I downloaded a ton of music after a few weeks my playlist was accidentally deleted, Apple basically said oh well, too bad. I was PO'd to say the least! That was years ago, and I am sure it is different now, but I don't use iPods anymore....
Because of EXACTLY what you said, about open world games, Xenoblade X, was my 2015 GOTY, it felt, looked and played differently than other open world games and is massive.
It is a JRPG, and is not for everyone, but I have 2 files one with 117 hrs and one with 40.
Assassins Creed, would benefit also doing exactly what you said. Make the next a swan song for this Gen, and really make it fresh. I like the games, but have not even picked Syndicate up YET, I will ...
The OP was on world 5, not level 5. So half way through the game. I think that is giving it a fair chance.
I personally felt the same way playing 3D World, I stopped around world 5 too, BUT one day ,after I had not played it in like 6 months for some reason started a new file, and LOVED my second go with it!?!

I know Indies need the kit, but I also know there are development kits out there for large 3rd party companies. Perhaps Nintendo feels Indies have a greater chance of leaking? I also think NX will release this year.
