I for one do not want to sink another $400 on an upgrade to my PS4 I have had for just 21/2 years! At least NX is completely different and it will have been over 4 years. Of coarse NX won't have as much power as even the regular PS4. At least not likely!
I would not say BOTW is stunning, it looks great, but common! Hopefully the NX version will look even better!

Sorry, but Sony and Nintendo have the IP'S I like. PC's can have all the power in the world, but it won't (legally) have the games I most want to play. Also within 10 years there will be a graphical wall where power will no longer matter, because game designers will have all the power they need. VR will be streamlined by then too, not that all games need to be VR
People do not look at the fact that Wii U only has sold 13 million, but the attachment rate for their games is insane! Also Nintendo owns the hand held market, no hater can say they don't.
NX, BOTW day 1!
I think the key will be launch line up, BOTW should give Zelda fans enough reason to pick up NX, if indeed the NX's visuals are better than Wii U's, also fans perhaps were not as thrilled with 2 Zelda HD remakes, WWHD being the better of the two, instead of a brand new title.
Coupled with something like SSB4, Metroid, and a surprise like Eternal Darkness or Diddy Kong Racing!

Or you could buy a 4k TV that has an upscaling engine built in, and bamn 1080p is now 4 k. Best thing I ever did! It made my 1080p games look fantastic, compared to my 1080p Plasma TV!

GameCube had tons of M rated games! Metal Gear Solid, Hitman 2, Killer 7 , RE ,0,1,2,3,4, Code Veronica, Eternal Darkness, True Crime New York, LA, Mortal Kombat,Bloodrayne,Grist, a bunch of Tom Clancy games, TimeSplitters.......etc there are more too!
I am picking up Pikmin 3, Nintendo selects so it is $19.99! Pikmin 4 should be finished, if not close. Bet N moved of to NX.
I like the gamepad! Could not play X, with the pro-controller, that would be a mess!
Doubtful, NEO,and Scorpio are due out next Holiday, and Nintendo NX is due in March, and will no doubt have the definitive edition of BOTW, which will no doubt be a GOTY contender.
I mean Scorpio will be backwards compatible with XB1, but it is a completely new console, and Scorpio games are not going to work on XB1, I assume the same goes for NEO.

People are saying NX will be $199, uh doubtful, considering the 3DS XL sells for $249, lol! It will be $299, and it should be, IF it has more power than Wii U, which is still retailing for $299! There are some great deals on bundles though.
Sorry I disagree! The game looks way cool, from a visual standpoint! It is not a "gimmick" look up the definition of gimmick!
I think it will be a hand held highbred that Connect's to a TV. I also think it will retail at $299.00. It will be able to put out better graphics than Wii U, but not XB1/PS4. We do already know NX And Wii U versions of BOTW are graphically different, so my fingers are crossed the NX version will look even better! I do think Nintendo also will use cartridges, as they have with all of their handhelds. Which for games like Splinter Cell, Xenoblade X, etc it would almost completely do away ...

The new Guitar Hero is pretty cool when you just want to chill! I only play with the videos! That is a pretty cool added feature, of made it fresh for awhile!
