Uncharted 4 is on par with TLOU if not better and I can say this without a second thought because TLOU is one of the greatest modern day games I have ever played. But the fact is that its not really fair to compare the two, even though U4 borrows some TLOUs mechanics they very very different games.
I am getting more and more excited for this game.
Its just a pity, for all its power, PC cant handle quality games. Snore fests and tech demos allround.
Necessity? Sony has already said that the Neo will be their first and last mid-gen console, so, I dont think they view it as a necessity.

The other problem I can see happening is that W10/PC gamers starting to pay for online gaming (Yes I know MS said that it will probably not happen but dont be fooled), either that or MS is going to tell their 43 million users that online gaming is free, and we all know that will never happen.

If it was cross-platform (which we dont know yet) it could be a problem, yes, if what Sweeny says turns out to be true but mostly for PC gamers, PS4 gamers, on the other hand, wont be affected as much if at all because it will be purchased through PSN.

I think Valve and Steam overall will be affected by this, if I understand Tim correctly but I dont think that Sony and Nintendo will be affected at all because they have no affiliation or reliance to MS or W10 and have different OS.
Its not about what people are saying, its about the games, think about it, when was the last time, other than SC2, PC had a truly great exclusive? And please dont say Cryisis which was almost 10 years ago anyway. And I never linked indie games to any platform, I said the Indie scene has caught my attention the last 4 years because it graphics isnt the focus its about good gaming. For PC gamers, graphics have become more important than gameplay.

Are you kidding me!!!??? The PC community is the quickest to throw all sorts of figures like CPU Speeds, vram, resolution and lighting in every ones faces and tell them which games can and cannot work on what ever specs they dish out, especially to console gamers. If you have been a PC gamer all your life and you havent encountered this, then I take it you are about 10 years old.

Actually, according to VGChartz, as of 18 June 2016, TR has only sold 1.5million for the Xbox 1 & 360 combined which is only 200k more than the RYSE, slap in the face moment. Now I know VGChartz isnt the most reliable of sources so, you can either add or subtract a few thousand if you wish but the fact is that those figures must be downright depressing for Square, especially for the 360 which only sold 300k considering its fan base.
Its not just putting differences aside, this game is being released with some of the most anticipated games of 2016. Why would you choose to release TR alongside games like TLG or BF1, besides this game didnt really light up the world on Xbox either as far as sales go, and it took the PC release to bail it out.
I have a huge problem with this. Games are being scrutinized to such a level that now days all we see are graphics, downgrades and what ever comes after and it seems like every one has forgotten about gameplay. Its the main reason I have stopped gaming on PC because it wasnt about gaming anymore, it was all about the power of your PC and graphics, its also the reason why the indie scene has caught my attention the last 4 years.

All of PS4s exclusives, with the exeption of MLB:The Show, have sold over 2 million copies, these are not figures to shy away from. And still to come is TLG, Horizon, GT Sport, TTC. I can assure you that GT Sport will sell close to 10 million copies and if TLG and Horizon are as good as we expect it to be, then they will sell well over 3 million.

Damn there are some seriously rich guys on this site who are saying they will be getting both consoles day one...... or just a bunch of guys out of touch with reality, either way these two consoles arent going to be cheap. The PS4Neo is already slated to be $400+ and I can assure you the scorpio will be in the same price bracket if not more expensive, add to that VR and 4k tv.
I myself cant keep up with this, so my next console purchase will only be when the PS5 comes aroun...
Even with Neo confirmed the PS4 is not slowing down in fact it seems to be speeding up, perhaps in anticipation of NMS. Well done Sony.
