Ellie's sexuality wasn't present at all in the first game until the dlc, and it was poorly shown in Part 2. Max and Chloe are not gay at all, Celeste only turned out to be trans after a Twitter post which is dumb, and you don't mention Sir Hammerlock?! Arguably one one the most casual gay characters in gaming, he sends you to kill one of his ex which is honestly the best way I've ever found out about someone being gay.

The industry said "it's mtx, or a price increase". Well they got their price increase, and we still have mtx. It isn't about TLoU, saying that it's about this game alone misses the point entirely. It didn't start with this game either. Remember BF6 was set to launch at 70, FF7 on PC launched at 70 and both those games got backlash. And BF6 proved all those against the price increase correct.
But it's not a remake though. They're not remaking the game from scratch. It's not a remaster in the sense that it's improved frame rates and better textures, it's the exact same game with lighting, environments, character models improved. This can be done in games unlike movies because you can go back and swap 3D assets, and if you have the source code, which they do, you can change fundamental stuff of the original and overhaul them and add stuff not there previously. ...
Technically it's a remaster. Difference being that since it's technically the same engine they can tinker with it more. It's no different than the model improvements in FFX cept obviously this looks better cause it's an HD era game. It's kind of similar to what has been done with mods on PC, swapping the character models with the cut scene models.
They ruined the multiplayer with all the unnecessary add-ons, but damn this was one of the best multiplayer game I played. Too bad they shut down the ps3 servers. Starting to doubt they'll make factions 2
It is a mobile game, says so in the article. They have a couple shows I'd love to see in game form but they're not taking this game business of theirs seriously.

Of course it is, but then again so are all remasters and remakes it's the point. Personally if this is how remasters are going to be done from now on then I'm all for it. I just don't agree with the 70 dollar price tag. Would like to see Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 bumped up to UR graphics and lighting

they're crazy with that pricing, and they're being aggressive with it too. Definitely sitting this gen out and enjoying some older games cause I ain't stupid enough to be pulled into 70 dollars games.
They've been boring. A sea of third person action adventure games with guns on the AAA scene and indies constantly complaining about how hard it is to sell their wholy unique pixel art game in a sea filled with pixel art games. A focus on pretty graphics all over again to sell you games that are otherwise possible on previous gen, and constantly talking about dual sense as is it isn't the exact same controller since the first Dualshock.
