I think the devs learnt not to be so quick to sign themselves away to a publisher and not to join a studio working on a fad, hopefully. As for investors, they definitely learnt nothing, but it did make their pockets weep.
Criticism hurts our feelings so we make games for the brain dead masses cause the casuals say nice things to us and give us money. Shhii no wonder why modern games are all mid as all hell.
Well well well, they're evolving! I've said this before but with BF4. BF4 is a complete game, with all its extra content out and already bundled with later copies. Rather than moving onto another potential fail for the series they could just go back and further support it. Problem with GaAS is that the promise has never been fulfilled because they make these service style games with the intention of nickle and diming players. You need to go about it with the intention of making a game...
If they weren't so gosh darn expensive I would've bought one. Really wanted one during COVID and couldn't find it at a reasonable price. The age of traditional handhelds is truly over. Not saying I don't like what the Switch does and what the Deck kind of started but GB/PSP/DS reached heights that modern systems haven't reached and I don't think they will.
Another PS3 list another me mentioning 3D Dot Game Heroes
That's cause it owes a lot to the original otherwise there wouldn't be a remake. Personally don't think it deserves any award unless there was one specifically for remakes and even then a category for remakes wouldn't really make much sense. That's not to say it doesn't deserve praise for what it is but I think it'd be unfair to the original works of this year. Stellar Blades is the one that should've gotten nominated, but you have the professional "journa...
There's gameplay and people are expressing their opinions based off what they've seen. Crazy I know.
This game really redeemed itself. The amount of content they've added and improvements it's like a completely different game. It wasn't even that bad at launch.
Don't mind me I'm just leaving this here for the future.
So in other words it's an action game needlessly fluffed out with RPG mechanics and a pointless leveling system. I really enjoy RPGs when they're actually RPGs but modern action games really tire me out when they shoehorn in mechanics they don't need. All this does is make a 20 hour game into a 40 hour game because missions become locked behind level requirements, and enemies become damage sponges. It's not fun, it's tedious.
I realized they most likely made the dlc a goty contender to exclude Stellar Blade smh.
Ezio got 3 games and an animated movie, they dedicated a lot of time to him and those games. No they can't make a sequel as good, cause all they wanna do is milk the series.
My opinion on this show hasn't changed. It should be a celebration of games and their developers. Instead it's a giant advert. I can somewhat understand E-sports but youtubers/streamers should be removed from the equation because they don't contribute to the industry, only to their pockets. Also the Kojima dong riding is so insulting, devs can't get in enough time to thank anyone but Doritos Pope spends 11 minutes fellating the man and that's fine.
Half Life 2 is currently free on steam for those who are unaware.
That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, just put a DLC category. While you're at it remove all the other pointless categories. They have too many of em and they literally blow thru em all during the half hour preshow. Less time on pointless awards and performances means more time on letting devs actually get their fair time on the spotlight. I swear if Kojima gets another 10 minutes this year I'm so done with this shite.
Least we're still getting a AAA Last Airbender game.
Halo:Finite
Take it from an adult, we're pretty stupid. More so when we think we're so sure of things. Also Ellie doesn't do anything in the show that we don't see in the game? Aside from the Bill episode, what's so Baby Inc about it? Actually the Bill episode isn't even an issue because we already know he's gay, and it's common in post apocalyptic stories to focus on human experiences so it wasn't really that out of place at all.
Never seen the media agree with it's reader as much as with this remaster, it's pretty strange. Hopefully it leads to something good tho, like some PS3 games being rereleased.
Can't tell if the disagrees are for not liking Part 2 or for complimenting Druckmann.
I'm talking about individual devs tho, not placing the fault entirely on SONY. I'm sure there were plenty of devs who joined in the years they were making this that probably weren't all in on the idea of making CONCORD. They've most likely learnt not to join another studio working on an MP game.
