I was just referring about the scores that are provided on this website for SSBB, which are 10, 10, 10, 10, and 9.3. It is obviously an excellent game.

This is my response to your comment about it being a kiddie game:
The beauty about Smash Bros. is that it can be simple enough for anyone to pick up and play but it can also be a competitive game. If it was a kiddie game, it probably wouldn't be an official MLG game.

Four 10's (So far) say otherwise.

I'm assuming you've never played a Pikmin game...

I'm also assuming that you're a fanboy.

In Wii Fit's defense, it is an excellent scale, it records your BMI, tracks and records the exercises you've done, walks you through them, and gives you hints/suggestions. Not to mention its got some minigames. Personally, I'm not sure if I'd buy it (yet), but if I do, it wouldn't be my main source of exercise. I'd probably use it twice weekly to check my status.

You must have missed when I mentioned 'potential' and 'can.' I never said 'Wii has the best online experience ever!'

"absolutely NO online support"

haha... you make me giggle.

You're ignorance just makes my day. Yes, it's lacking, but there are games that support online play for the Wii.

And arm-flailing isn't even necessary when playing.

Your hyperbolical sarcasm isn't appreciated. I do agree that this is the WRONG ROUTE to take and that Nintendo is waaay to focused on pleasing 'mommy,' but I'm not ignorant to the fact that the Wii has great potential and can, in fact, handle a pleasing online experience. I think the idiots making decisions at Nintendo will wake up sooner or later.

I love that Sony is doing this. It's awesome.

But I can't help but notice that the reaction wasn't the same when head tracking was proven possible on the Wii without a peripheral (albeit uncomfortable and inconvenient).

It's already being used as an easter egg in Boom Blox, the Wii exclusive.

I really hope Winning Eleven sells well. It looks like the most skill-required soccer game ever. I'm surprised to see Brawl in the 2nd spot.

This looks awesome. I'm glad that Sony's working on this. I think Boom Blox will show us some of the possibilities involved with head tracking. Nintendo just started using its head tracking.

One thing I'm concerned about it the Eye's ability to keep tracked on the player's head. What happens if the person moves his/her head faster? Will it lose sync?

Starring Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers.

It is pretty bad.

At least they chose to put a great game in it: Ico.

First off, Kaz Hirai works for Sony. Secondly, the Wii can handle great online play. Nintendo chooses not to implement it because of rules and regulations. It's already been said that Mario Kart has stat tracking/leaderboards that put most games to shame. They chose not to include voice chat. They weren't constrained by hardware limitations like most ignorant people on this site believe.

The ignorance is astounding...

I think they should make it an option for adult players. With proper security settings, it could be done. There's always a mute button.

Well, Disaster is from Nintendo and Sadness is a 2nd party game.

6580d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

So the Wii has/is getting
-Guitar Hero III
-Rock Band
-Battle of the Bands
-Ultimate Band

Seems like everyone is trying to cash in on the rhythm-based games.

6580d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

How? By providing the best 1st party games available? Is it even deniable? Blame 3rd parties for underestimating the Wii's ability to sell. They're the ones providing us with sh!t.

However, Nintendo is to blame for keeping voice chat from us. They have no choice but to implement it unless they want to be neglected completely.

There are plenty of new IPs. They just don't get any hype because Nintendo advertises the system, not the software.

Disaster: Day of Crisis
No More Heroes
Sadness
Baroque
Zack and Wiki
de Blob

... to name a few.

You're right. They've already stated that they're considering it, proving that it's possible. The problem is Nintendo's rules and regulations concerning safety. You can't go into matchmaking in Halo without being called a c*** or d***. Nintendo doesn't want to deal with that... not yet, at least.
